Strange orange color tint on C7 OLED

Question

Posted

Hi - I have a strange issue where I choose my computer connected via HDMI to my LG C7 TV - the screen has an orange color.

This has only been happening recently and no other channel is affected. TV/Netflix etc channels all totally fine.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks!

My LG smart tv has a blue tint no matter how much i try to adjust the picture settings.

      Hi!

I own a OLED65C8PUA 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart OLED TV and it seems to be suddenly freezing when a commercial starts on a LG channel. I've unplugged the TV, hold down the start button, restarted to clean out the cache. I even restarted the whole system where it deletes most of the apps and all your picture and internet settings. Still getting this freeze during ADS between the LG channel presentations (be it the 80's, 90's, Love Boat channels, etc.) Anyone else have this problem? I'm kind of at a loss of what to do next.

Company’s Award-Winning Micro RGB evo Sets a New Standard for Triple Color
Coverage With 100% BT.2020, DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB Intertek Certification

SEOUL, Dec. 16, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) will unveil its first-ever flagship RGB TV at CES 2026 – the LG Micro RGB evo, a CES 2026 Innovation Awards winner.* Employing Micro RGB Technology and LG TV’s smallest individual RGB LEDs, this display marks a significant step forward from MiniLED.
The LG Micro RGB evo represents a significant evolution in Micro RGB technology: it uses OLED precision to control each of the RGB LED backlights, bringing 13 years of LG OLED’s technical excellence to the RGB category. The engine driving this performance is the newly upgraded Dual AI Engine-based α (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen 3, which features Dual Super Upscaling to simultaneously process two types of AI upscaling. This enhances sharpness while delivering natural and balanced images that offer the highest level of clarity and immersion.
This immense processing power enables RGB Primary Color Ultra, a breakthrough that delivers a full spectrum of color reproduction. Driven by this technology, LG Micro RGB evo achieves an outstanding range, certified by Intertek for 100 percent color gamut coverage in BT.2020, DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB – the highest possible color reproduction. This offers optimal accuracy for everything from digital editing and HDR cinema to next-generation display technologies.
Complementing this color perfection is Micro Dimming Ultra, orchestrating more than a thousand dimming zones with exceptional accuracy. It achieves high contrast performance among LCD TVs, pinpointing brightness and color control to reveal intricate details in both dark and bright scenes.
Beyond picture quality, the innovation extends to the customer experience. The interface is deeply personalized via the award-winning webOS platform, featuring Voice ID, AI Picture/Sound Wizard and a tailored “My Page” home screen. An upgraded AI Concierge, AI Chatbot and AI Search further enhance viewing by helping customers effortlessly explore content-related information.
“Achieving the utmost visual fidelity is the goal of any display, and with the LG Micro RGB evo, we have achieved a milestone previously thought impossible for this category,” said Park Hyoung-sei, president of the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “This launch marks the evolution of the RGB TV, redefining industry standards to offer uncompromising performance for customers who demand exceptional color accuracy.”
The LG Micro RGB evo (model MRGB95) will be available in 100-inch, 86-inch and 75-inch sizes.
Visitors to CES 2026 can experience LG’s latest home entertainment innovations at the company’s booth (#15004, Las Vegas Convention Center) from January 6–9. For more updates on LG’s announcements, visit the LG Newsroom.

In London’s Thriving Art Season, Se Ok’s Ink Abstraction Comes Alive on
LG OLED TVs, While LG Engages Artists via Partnership With National Gallery

SEOUL, Oct. 16, 2025 — Amid the energy of Frieze London 2025, LG Electronics (LG) celebrates the abstract artistry of Se Ok Suh (1929–2020), a pioneer of modern Korean ink abstraction. At Frieze London 2025, this visionary artist’s abstract ink paintings are reinterpreted by his sons, Do Ho Suh and Eul Ho Suh, as an inspiring digital art experience on LG OLED TVs.
To translate Se Ok Suh’s artistic vision from ink painting to digital art experience, renowned contemporary artist Do Ho Suh, and visionary architect Eul Ho Suh, closely collaborated to create an immersive spatial arrangement. LG OLED TVs provide the ideal digital canvas to present their vision. Through this partnership, Do Ho gives new life to the beauty and radical inventiveness of Se Ok Suh’s “People” series, animating marks that explore the philosophical relationship between humanity and infinite space.
Presented across multiple LG SIGNATURE OLED T transparent TV and OLED evo TVs, the black ink abstract works are rendered through overlapping video animations, drawing viewers into a compelling narrative that captures the meditative flow of Se Ok Suh’s ink paintings. The innovative capabilities of LG’s transparent OLED screens create a visually striking and immersive experience that will captivate viewers, highlighting the layered interplay and refined lines of Se Ok Suh’s brushwork. The perfect black facilitated by LG’s self-lit OLED technology brings out the depth and subtlety of every stroke in astonishing detail.
Extending the creative energy sparked by Frieze London across the city’s vibrant art scene, the story behind the project, showcased at Frieze London, will be elaborated for the wider art community at the National Gallery in London. A special event will enable wider reflection on this intergenerational collaboration and the inspiration Do Ho Suh drew from his father’s work in this reinterpretation.
LG recently began the journey of its partnership with the National Gallery, one of the world’s favorite art destinations, reflecting its commitment to nurturing contemporary artists and their work. As the National Gallery’s Modern and Contemporary Art Partner, LG supports current and upcoming artist projects and relationships with other cultural institutions at the intersection of art and technology.
“My father often spoke of the infinite universe and space in his work, while he was painting,” said Do Ho Suh. “When I witnessed the moment the LG OLED screen became transparent, it felt as if a two-dimensional picture was transformed into three-dimensional space, revealing the space behind the painting that has been invisible until now.”
“This exhibition is a meaningful opportunity to share the legacy of Se Ok Suh’s work, digitally reimagined by Do Ho Suh and Eul Ho Suh for Frieze London,” said Kate Oh, head of Experiential Marketing at the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “During London Art week, we are excited to take part in projects and events with the cultural partners including National Gallery in London and Korean Cultural Centre UK (KCCUK) to support artists and inspire art lovers and the wider art community across London.”
During Frieze London 2025, LG and the KCCUK are also hosting K-Art Lab, an interactive exhibition exploring the dialogue between Korean heritage and contemporary creativity. At the event, Se Ok Suh’s reimagined works are showcased on LG’s 83-inch OLED TV, providing visitors a deeply engaging visual experience.
Visitors to Frieze London 2025 can explore LG’s latest OLED TVs and Se Ok Suh’s artwork, reinterpreted by his sons, in The Regent’s Park from October 15 to 19.
LG OLED TVs continue to inspire new forms of artistic expression through the integration of art and technology, creating innovative ways to experience creativity in the digital age. To learn more about LG’s latest collaborations and initiatives, visit
