Hello , There is no setting to select subtitles for series and movies, I tried clicking on the colors on the remote, but nothing worked, I poked around in settings and found nothing. Hello.
Some tutorials explain how to do it.
We first need to root the TV with scripts such as RootMyTV, and then install dts_restore.
Both tools are free and available at github.
I'm not writing the links because I don't know if it's allowed in this forum and because I take no responsibility.
My question is:
Has anybody tried this process? Does it work?
The documentation says if you have any problem you can just factory reset the TV, but I don't dare to do it.

I am having a LG TV model no 55UB850T-TA with WebOS. Its firmware now updated and a result it is not working now. I require WebOS TV version 1.4.0-2337 (afro-ashley) to reinstall. how can i get tis version of software...

Please post here firmware number for your WebOS set including your country or the country where you downloaded the firmware and the model of your tv set:
- 3.23.24 - Romania- 47LB730v
- 3.23.34 - Romania -47LB730v - 21.08.2014 by USB
