I had no trouble doing this on Windows 10.

The update was disabled. It has some bugs.

It is no longer available. The update has too many issues. Disable simple link and you shouldn't have any more out of memory issues.

Same issues on 55UB8500. FW 05.00.04.

I hope LG is working on a fix to uphold the reputation of this awesome TV.

The update was pulled. Are you using a receiver with system link? What model is the receiver? I had the same issue with the ub9500 but luckily I was able to downgrade.

Btw ive tested the 5.00.05 version on my pioneer and still memory error

I also have a pioneer and get this error. Might be related to the pioneer receivers.

I was actually able to get it done before I saw your post using the same technique. I am back to normal and everything is good.

I am in the USA firmware after downgrade is 3.23.06.1 HE_DTV_WT1H_AFAAATAA

The downgrade installed a firmware meant for a EU TV. Now I am unable to update and in the service menu it has some errors forHDMI 2.0 is listed as NG and the country code  has EU. The app store does not work either.

 

How can I fix this? How can I install the correct firmware using the correct file?

I got a call from LG regarding the out of memory error. They said the engineers recommend simplelink off and they are investigating the issue. I am not receiving the error with it off. It might be related to the receiver brand. I have a pioneer.

Has anyone successfully downgraded from 05.00.04 to original software?

Some people have. It depends on your model.

I am not trying to use it with this. I don't know how to do that. I use to be able to downgrade using a usb drive.

I have the file for the first software released for my TV. It is version 3.23.06. I use to be able to downgrade using power only mode but they disabled it with this new software

It says No update was found.

No success for me. I don't see HE_DTV_WT1H_AFAAATAA in the list

There is no way to do this.

Is there any way I can get this work on my model ? I have tried so many things but it always says update not found.

I did a factory reset and in-start and still have the issue. I will never buy another LG TV again. Everyone with issues need to call customer support.

60LB7500 5.00.04, Using simplink ARC to a Harman Kardon Amp,Also have HBB TV turned on,Internet is via Ethernet, Always do a reset after installing.

It takes a while to see the out of memory error for me sometimes. I get it in simplelink and Netflix.

Hi Keith is ARC the cause of memory bug ?

I am using arc. I will turn it off and see if that fixes my issue. Everyone with issues please call customer service.
