many thanks for your reply....................i tried the home button and select Live Tv................doesn't work...............only way was to power off the tv totally and power on again..............even putting the tv on standby and power on again won't work.......

only Sony is better but price is much higher................unless Panasonic is available

maybe the cheap non-OLED tvs will work better ?

okay................if the tv is still under warranty - maybe can get their technician to come take a look ?

i've the entry level 43'' LED tv but Youtube can always run on 2160p.............maybe becoz i'm using a LAN cable and not WiFi ??

i always have to turn off the TV using the power switch (put on standby won't do) to view ''live tv'' channels again after watching LG Channels................any way to do that without powering off the tv completely ? 😟 many thanks in advance...........😀

100 channels ?? i'm from Singapore and after updating the OS recently only has no more than 10 channels from LG Channel.........

i was prompted to update the tv software.............lucky thing that i turned off automatic updates couple days beforehand...............the update will be over 1 GB but the free space on the tv internal storage is less than 1 GB ............🤣 so any harm if i DON'T update the tv software from now on.......?🤔 i will update Youtube app though...........

mind telling me how you did it ? i couldn't do that from day 1.............my tv is a few months old...........it says certain apps won't allow turning off of the screen.........

i tried the edit function while using Youtube...............doesn't work.............when i click on ''screen off'' button - it says it won't work for certain apps...........i'm using the most budget tv model so maybe that's the reason ?

i thought of using my handphone to act as a remote control for the TV.............but it will only work with WiFi ??!! i had BlueTooth still turned on..............TV is using LAN connection only.........and the phone can no longer control the TV (the phone can control the TV with WiFi on)............is this normal ?? many thanks in advance............

i just started using a new LG 43UR7550 (cheapest model from them).......1st time using a LG as well as a Smart TV too.......and so far having a hard time adjusting the picture and sound (never had such problems with previous TVs)😒 1) sound is worse than i thought since the speakers are down-firing (my previous TV had front-firing speakers)...........it has the AI Sound Tuning - so after it had tuned the sound - do i set the Sound Mode to ''AI'' or should i use ''Custom Settings'' to use the equalizer ??😬 2) the TV has many different settings like Noise Reduction, TruMotion, etc.......so how to calibrate for best picture since i read that people say it's best to turn them all off ?😬 3) i can turn off the screen when watching free-to-air broadcast channels.........but can i turn off the screen if i'm using Youtube app on the TV..........?..........what if i use a HDMI cable from my PC to the TV - can i turn off the screen ?🤒 many thanks in advance😃
