It is getting frustrating to keep resetting TV to initial setup so that I could use the remote for volume control.

I did some more testing, if I do not use Netflix or Disney+ app that comes with the TV, the volume continues to work fine. One I starting using anyone of this app the remote for LG loses the ability to control Sonos Arc volume.

I will be really surprise if I am the only one that encounter this error

Thanks everyone for your suggestion. I was hoping not to use a media server to play my video files. Was hoping there would be a simple app like VLC or similar that I could just play from the TV.

Seems like not possible, I will just use my notebook, project screen on TV and just play the video files from my NAS from there.

I would like to play MP4 video file from my NAS, is this possible from LG Smart TV? I tried on the TV and did not see how I could do this, I also did not see any App that could help me in this area.

My LG TV is connected to my home network so has direct access to my NAS.

The eArc option seems to be off and if u turn it on, it might work.

Thanks it works for me. The steps I wish to emphaise is make sure you remove all connectors from the ports. Power off the TV and sound bar, starts off with the ARC connection first.

My soundbar is from Sonos but I faced the same problem describe here.
