Amen to the above. It is bizarre for LG to lag so far behind in this essential component of today's on-line entertainment.

Since there is no LG app available for the new HBO Max (as there wasn't for the old HBO Go, for that matter), the only alternative, other than a cumbersome, unsatisfactory HDMI hookup with a computer, is using the browser. But, of course, the ancient LG browser cannot support HBO Max. LG really, really, needs to do something about this for both current and prospective customers. A "smart" TV burdened "dumb" features like this is not competitive these days.
