I Have Only One Issue with my Smart TV 47LB6520 (with Smart-share App in my TV)

when i play from my USB (connected directly)  3D Move with 3D Subtitle File I'm already tested it on My Laptop is Not Working on my LG Smart TV .

 

Only one File working with .SRT File is .ASS but working in 2D View  ???!!

 

any body know about this issue ?? how can i fix it ??

In my post the details i have provided are for TV model 42LB625T, be careful choosing the right firmware!

As Jimbo1876 explain in his post the procedure how to upgrade firm from USB is very well explained on LG website.

1. Download the archive file.

2. Unzip

3. Create folder on the USB drive and name it "LG_DTV"

4. Copy the file/s to USB drive in the previously created folder "LG_DTV".

5. Turn off the TV from remote

6. Plug in any of the USB ports or in service USB if it's exist.

7. Turn the TV on.

8. When "USB connected" message will apire select from the dialog "stay".

9. Last "USB update" message will apire chose "install".

What for around 10-15 minutes and than restart the TV.

Please note that I don't take any responsibility if something goes wrong while updating the firmware.

I have one Question for this steps , If the TV starting the update and the Power is Down what well happen ?? can i start upgrade again Or TV will now Power On again ??

There are explicit details of how to update via USB on the LG site for your TV

 

upgrade through USB is this safe way ??? also I Asked Customer Support and Only the Answer is Just Wait and Check Every Day through My TV :D

I'm 47LB6520-TB and this update is available for my model ONLY ON LG Site How can I Update it which is not available through check's from TV !!

I Think the Only Problem in Smart-share is Not Supported .sub .idx .ass .ssa (but in Guide of the TV is Support All Subtitles Extensions )   

 

what can i do ??

I'm Hassan From Cairo (Egypt) I Have 47LB6520 from 1 month I Have one Problem with 3D Subtitle in any Language all 2D Subtitle is working well through Smart-share But when I Convert Sub  (srt file) to 3D Sub (SSA Or ASS files) is Working 2D !!! any body know about this issue ?? 

 

I called customer support and no body of them is not understand this issue , and the technical guy will visit me next week.
