I have a similar problem but for the UK Freesat channels. BBC, C4, C5 etc load into the channel guide EPG but when I select any station it displays a blank screen with "Invalid Service" error.
Initially setup with region Ireland so thought that might be the issue, but I have just reset to factory settings and tried UK, with same result on selecting Satellite - Freesat.
I'm connected directly into the DVB-S2 tuner of the TV from an old Sky dish.
Considering purchasing a setup top box but really why should I have to spend more money on an additional device when the LG set should work as advertised?
