The Magic Remote Sky Remote integration is as close as we seemed to have got to that - but until they replicate the "Sky" and "Back up" buttons it remains a frustrating experience. Getting back to live Sky TV once you are into any of the on screen menus in tortuous.

I've seen lots of blog posts online from tech sites about the Sky+ EPG integration on LG Webos TV's but on this forum I can see people asking about it the functionality but not actually getting it up and running.

Has anyone successfully set up Sky+ EPG integration ?

No - I haven't seen any trace of any suggestion that it actually can be done.

I would be happy if the on screen Sky remote for Magic Remote actually replicated the Sky remote instead of the half hearted frustrating to use attempt LG have made of it.

The bug is randomly and very rare. For a year is happing only two time when start TV. Before this bug I use smart share player and turn off TV until player is in play movie mode.

LG Store for Bulgaria location not support Today app and for that reason I switch to UK,but BBC player service not work at all. Why? In Bulgaria store apps are very poor and small number.

LG developer app - I cannot logon. Your politic according this is very restricted. Why? Make it available for users.

BBC iPlayer will only work if you have a genuine UK IP address

Anyone know how to uninstall an application???

Please dont tell me how to remove it from the "Recent" menu, i want some of them out of my tv... and i cannot find how to do it.

Expand the menu so it shows all app/icons by selecting on the right hand icon on the menu. Goto the app you want to remove. Highlight it by selecting on it once the press the up arrow on the remote. A small cross should now appear above the icon - select on the the cross to remove the app for good.

Just registered to share that on my lb670v i was getting the same problem and after disabling CEC or Simplink the tv got back to normal...

I also have a raspberry pi and i noticed that the CEC service on it somehow interferes with the tv CEC... So i disable it.

I had similar issues with the 47LB650V, Magic Remote & new Sky HD 2TB and Samsung amp but no issues with old Sky HD box and that combination. I finally discovered that the new Sky Box has an HDMI control option that appeared to be to clashing with Simplink, turned this off and now am able to control TV, amp and Sky HD 2Tb box via remote and Simplink with no freezing or slowing down of control.

This version is publicated in january, and when you download it, you will see date on the end of file name, the date is 20141224. That means this file is from december. I don't know why they putted release date 05.02.2015, in Serbia is the same.

They put the release date of 05/02/15 because that was the date it was released in the UK. Hence the title of the thread. It was not officially available in the UK till that date.

Yes - just re-download them from App Store.

How did you get netword folders to show up in the first place? The TV only supports DLNA

Apologies. I was referring to WIndows Media Sharing sharing lists appearing as folders in Smartshare.I have since discovered now that turning off the WMP sharing service on each computer on the network cleared them from the Smartshare list of devices.

OK, I got it figured thanks. I had to move to the right hand side to get the full list of apps then I could remove them, really appreciate the help.

How do I remove unwanted apps from the launcher? I have things showing up there like The Wiggles and Facebook that I will never use, am I able to remove them so they dont appear?

Highlight the app icon then press the up arrow key on remote and the icon should pop up out of the list then press up again and a small cross should appear - select on the cross and enter the app will be gone. I am doing this from memory so might not be exact but you will get there from the description.

Can anyone who has their Magic Remote 2014 version set up to control their Sky HD box tell me how to get back to live Sky TV from any of the menus as the back up button doesn't appear to work or is their an obvious replacement for the "Sky" button. I have tried all of the Samsung remote options and none of them work - only the BSkyB one works.
