Game streaming app on LG webos smart tv

Bokka

Question

Hi everyone!

As far as you know, will Microsoft's Xcloud service always be exclusive to Samsung smart TVs or is the app also expected to arrive for TVs with WebOS?
I know that I can use the browser on the TV, but I wonder if a special app will come out in the future.

Also, if you know, will the PsNOW do Sony app ever come out to play Playstation titles in cloud streaming?

A thousand thanks

I totally get the excitement around game streaming apps on smart TVs. As of now, Microsoft's Xcloud service has been exclusive to Samsung smart TVs, but there's always a chance for future developments. Who knows, an app for TVs with WebOS might be in the works!
Now, regarding the PsNOW app for cloud streaming PlayStation titles, it's always hard to say for sure. Sony has been expanding their streaming services, so there's a possibility that a dedicated PsNOW app could come out in the future. Fingers crossed!
By the way, have you ever thought about making money on Audible? If you're into audiobooks, there is this awesome article that spills the beans on earning some extra cash through Audible here

I can stream ABC content using either the iView app on our LG G1 65" OLED, or via the iView Android TV app that is installed on a Chromecast with Google TV that is plugged into one of the G1 HDMI ports. If I stream content using the app on the TV, every few minutes there's a momentary (fraction of a second) interruption to both sound and video. If I stream the same content using the app on the Chromecast, I get no such interruptions. Both TV and Chromecast are using wired Ethernet connections to the same switch, so I can't see that these interruptions are due to a network problem, or I'd see them on both devices. It would seem to be a problem with the app provided on the TV. Other streaming services that we access via apps on the TV (Netflix, Stan, Amazon Prime, etc) do not show the same problem.

When using the Fubo app with my magic remote the app goes wildly crazy as I move the remote around. If I do not press the center button to activate the pointer navigation works using left right up down .

webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.
Does anybody have any suggestions of what I might try to get this working again, or is this something for LG, or Sky, to fix?

      Automatic Firmware Update
Press the Home/Smart button on your remote to bring up your launcher bar.
Click the Settings icon in the top-right.
Choose the All Settings option at the bottom.
Choose the General menu from the left.
Scroll down, near the bottom of the list, and select About this TV.
From here, make sure Allow automatic updates is checked, and click the Check for updates button.
If an update is found, follow the steps on screen to download and install it.
