Including Two “Best of the Best” Honors
SEOUL, Apr. 4, 2024 — LG Electronics (LG) announces it has received a total of 28 awards at this year’s Red Dot Award. Among the multiple accolades are two Best of the Best accolades for LG CLOi ServeBot and Signature Kitchen Suite Transitional Series wall ovens.
Recognized with a Best of the Best honor, LG CLOi ServeBot incorporates innovative technology in a sleek design with stability in mind. For increased convenience and versatility, the autonomous serving robot features a three-tier shelves that can be adjusted or detached to suit the situation and can even hold up to 40 kilograms, making it easy to move heavy loads.
Offering enhanced driving performance with six wheels and independent suspension, the CLOi ServeBot can even move stably on unsteady floors. Equipped with a 3D camera and a light detection and ranging (LiDAR) sensor, CLOi ServeBot can recognize environments and communicate with other CLOi ServeBot to coordinate movements without access points, enabling the stable operation of more than ten robots in the same space simultaneously. Featuring outstanding technology, CLOi ServeBot was awarded the Innovation Award at CES 2024.
Also awarded the Best of the Best, the Signature Kitchen Suite Transitional Series wall ovens were recognized for its modern and minimal design with an elegant, velvety matte finish that elevates the kitchen environment. Delivering a chic, minimalist appearance, Transitional Series ovens are equipped with slimmer handles than those found on Professional Series models.
Equipped with Gourmet AI technology and a built-in high-definition camera, the ovens can identify ingredients and automatically suggest optimal recipes on the display. Through the LG ThinQ app, users can monitor what they’re cooking in real time and even capture time-lapse videos and photos.
LG StanbyME Go, a portable 27-inch screen built into a case, was recognized as both an Innovative Product and Winner at this year’s Red Dot Awards. Complete with an integrated Dolby Atmos sound system, HDMI connectivity and webOS, StanbyME Go is the complete anywhere-you-want entertainment experience. LG StanbyME Go is the ideal mobile entertainment screen with its 40W speakers and articulating arm can position the screen in three different ways. Other innovations recognized for outstanding design include LG’s latest TV, laptop, monitor, speaker, air conditioners, washing machines and dryers, Styler, all-in-one system ironing, dehumidifier and HydroTower, a combination of air purifier and humidifier.

Accelerating Innovation to Achieve United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
NEW YORK, July 11, 2023 – LG Electronics Inc. (LG) has been recognized as a world leader in leveraging technology to address sustainability and social challenges, according to a just-released groundbreaking report. LG is ranked 13th among the top 100 corporate patent owners advancing transformative solutions toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the new report, “Exploring the Global Sustainable Innovation Landscape: The Top 100 Companies and Beyond,” by LexisNexis® Intellectual Property Solutions.

Receiving Certification for ISO/IEC DIS 18974 Compliance, Company
Aims to Strengthen Competitiveness of Its Software-Based Businesses
SEOUL, April 28, 2023 — LG Electronics (LG) recently earned industry-first recognition for its software supply chain security management system, receiving ISO/IEC DIS 18974 certification – the international standard for open source software (OSS) security management systems established by the Linux Foundation’s OpenChain Project. Comprised of a global network of companies, the OpenChain Project is a voluntary consultative body focused on building trust in the OSS supply chain.
LG’s software supply chain security management system meets over thirty of the requirements stipulated by the OpenChain Project, including the establishment of internal policies related to OSS security, the periodic updating of security policies and the use of various tools for software security testing.
The first global manufacturer to obtain the ISO/IEC DIS 18974 certification, LG continues to demonstrate its advanced capabilities and a strong commitment to responding to security vulnerabilities in the software supply chain.
As part of the company’s strategy to upgrade its business portfolio, the company is accelerating its advancement into non-hardware business areas, such as platforms, solutions as well as content and services, by leveraging its accumulated software capabilities and expertise in diverse segments including home appliances, TVs, electric vehicle components and B2B solutions. I recently purchased a LG 50LB6520 Smart TV with WebOS.
I tried to connect my WD 1 TB USB portable drive but it was not recognized by the TV.
I searched the web for a solution and I did not find much related to this problem but I found a recommendation to reformat the HD to NTFS system file with a bigger allocation size. I did so and connected the drive to the TV and it worked.
I started loading my files on the HD (around ~500 GB) and reconnected to the TV and again it was not recognized
Anyone got a solution to this problem?
