The one that has Flash Player is running Netcast Operating System, LG stopped working on it. and the other without is running WebOS, and they don't have flash player and you calso can't install it, that's because i have contacted LG and they say that ADOBE doesn't want to provide Flash Player for the WebOS because the latest version of flashplayer is 15 and netcast has the version 10 and it can't be updated. They say that you personaly can talk with them or complain, but that's the company's policy.

I recommend you buying a cheap Android Mini PC and watching multimedia from it, because with the one that has WebOs, you are not going to br able to watch the video for more than 15-20 minutes because it will say "out of memory, app is closed" becaus Netcast uses less RAM than WebOs, and RAM can only be refreshed by swithing off and on again in Smart TV's. Hope it helped, 1 like helps me.

It is unprofessional on part of LG TV that they do not resolve the basic issue of adding app gCmob in their app store.
My 50UT80506LA LG WebOs TV does not support my office security camera system via wifi to TV.  We need (gCmob app) in list of app.
I can't connect my office camera via Wi-Fi to LG-TV. No body in LG TV technical team is proactive in resolving the issue of customer. They are more happy to befool the customers, rather than looking for technical solution through wider thinking.
Please talk to you top management and make a visit to our office to understand the customers plight..
      Please respond to customers needs.

In "CMP settings": there is a huge list of vendors, IAB and Google.
You can deselect consent for those.
However when you go back, in the Google consent are all still enabled.
Reject All doesn;t work. Deselecting individually and clicking "Confirm my choices" doesn't work. The Google ones are back on.
      That's really bad, GDPR.

So basically I just got a new LG OLED TV (55 inch C5) and my Dad's C4 was seemingly able to display internal or embedded subtitles in TV shows through the built-in media player from external USB storage just fine with some tinkering in the menus.
But with mine, the subtitles are displaying all of the raw text in the subtitle files in the player, not using the arguments properly at all.
      Pictures included for reference

Is there any way to fix this other than literally doing subtitles for every episode externally, in a seperate file?
These subtitles work fine when I play from the exact same storage device on my phone through VLC, and again on my Dad's LG TV
