  1. I was really looking forward to my new LG 65QNED86A6A, but my excitement quickly turned into frustration due to the lack of options for setting an app to autostart. Do I seriously have to log in just to update my TV app (Magenta)? Really, LG? In 2025, I still can't set up IPTV from common providers during the initial setup, and instead, I'm only offered LIVE TV, cable TV, and antenna? The LG HUB does include LG's own app, LG Channels, but there is no way to pin an app of my choice or enable autostart for a preferred app... I was so naïve to think, "What could possibly go wrong? It's LG WebOS," especially since I was satisfied with my old device (65-8509UH) and the remote (AN-MR600). Now, my impression is that things have only regressed, and that's with an operating system as good as WebOS. I don't want to rule out the possibility that this is due to my own lack of knowledge. If anyone can explain how to achieve what I'm looking for, I would be very grateful. I've already tried everything imaginable in the menu. Of course, the workaround via recent inputs and an external device like Apple TV works. And here comes the next step backwards: the new Magic Remote (MR25GA). Compared to my old one, the haptics and responsiveness are noticeably worse—the remote feels uncomfortable in the hand due to its angular shape, and the button feedback is, in my opinion, much less satisfying than with the old remote. If anyone knows a trick to make the old remote fully compatible, I would appreciate the information. One final note: This is an AI-generated text, as my English skills are not very strong. Best regards
