Finally found something that worked (rather than the usual, reset your tv/router nonsense) Remove back case of tv and you may well see the problem. Kinked and twisted ribbons leading from the WiFi module. CAREFULLY flatten these out. This fixed the wifi AND the intermittent Lan connection issue.
