it's not only OLED. it's every single TV using WebOS 1.4 an 2.0
is there somebody from LG here or it's just talking to ourselves

HiI have 55EC9300 55 OLED TV, when it was running webos 1.0, it used to display refresh rate of the screen 50Hz, 60Hz or 24Hz n top of the screen. whenever I click on info or just OKSince LG released update of WebOS 1.4 which is almost the same as webOS 2.0 of 2015 sets. refresh rate is not listed anymore, there is no way to tell what refresh rate is usedIs there anybody from LG around who can pass this on to engineering team maybe they could bring this feature back to webOs 1.4 and webOS 2.0Thank you

Nope, it's not possible, because firmware version info is stored inside firmware file.
Maybe one can edit firmware with notepad+ or some editing program

Well, it's not really that simple.
trick does not work?

not sure if it works but try to manually change the file name (file you downloaded) to a higher number than the beta version you have, your LG might take it as an update
