Plus one here for Multiview.   I call it Picture-in-Picture, it is all the same regardless of implementation differences. This is absolutely a useful feature on a giant monitor. The absence of the feature is the single biggest reason I have to dump my otherwise fine LG and to switch brands. Just a few highlights of how it is useful to me: I can participate in a live cycling game/workout and watch something else simultaneously. Or I can follow multiple events.   Or I can follow multiple sources covering the same event.      Reducing a monitor to only displaying ONE source at a time does not match how I use my electronic media.    Nobody keeps one app open on their phone or  computer. The same should be the case on the the TV monitor.

    Totally agree.

With C9 TV+HDMI is possible, with CX you don’t have Multiview anymore.

if you need 2 HDMI, C8 or older is the way to go

    Dang!

Given that all TVs are going to give more Digital Real Estate - Bigger Sizes and 4K / 8K screens, it would make sense for them to give users WAYS to use it/ Multi Task the Multi Views

What about for Non OLED LG TVs and Multi View?

Hello friends, i think i found a way to downgrade 2017-2020 models tv (now its not possible by using current methods). The process is carried out through a computer using an RC232 cable. Can we overcome the obstacle to revert to old software using this method? Do you think this is possible? The link I provided is in Turkish, but you can translate it into English.

Did you or anyone find success in doing so? I would like Multi View back on TVs. Its gone in new Web OS.

What was last version with Multi View?

    Hi @JonnyFlores

I would imagine that LG have dropped the feature, possibly they have had feedback that it is not a regularly used feature by a majority of users, or programmatically it has become more of a problem to keep rather than develop.

What was the last Web OS version to support this properly? And I would not mind going back in version. What can we do?

Answer from LG was they want to check if more customers need this function. Now I have 3 OLEDs at home.

    C8 HDMI + HDMI possible

    C9 TV + HDMI possible

    CX no multiview integrated

i think it’s a dead end for this function after the evolution from C8 to CX.

Is this TV hardware thing OR WebOS Version thing? Why did they mess this up?

That's a shame. I guess I'll write them as well then, and get an HDMI switch or something with the feature. I recently started using mine as a monitor for my Mac and PC, which works great so far except that I would like to be able to see both side-by-side rather than having to switch channels back and forth.

    Thanks for the update!

Whats the consensus now on Web OS 5.2/.3?
