aftershocks

Hi all, I was also struggling to get this to work. Wasted many hours. Here is what eventually worked for me... I'm running both a Surface Book/Surface Book 2... I had to set the frequency band on the WLAN adapter for the Surface Books to 2.4ghz... Join the 2.4ghz on the LG Smart TV (OLED running WebOS). That worked for me. I tried on the 5ghz but no luck. However on my Galaxy Note 8, I'm able to miracast on the 5ghz band with no issues. *shurgs*... I do notice on the 2.4ghz band, there is a bit of a lag on fast motion. But on the 5ghz (phone) it's smooth. I hope this helps others.
