Managed to finally resolve this problem: 1. Connect your laptop to the router using an ethernet cable. Don't worry this is only temporary. 2. Connect the TV's Wi-Fi to the same network that the laptop is connected to 3. Start the Screen Share app on the TV 4. On your laptop, choose the option to connect to a wireless display and choose the name of your LG TV 5. Once your laptop display has been cast, you can connect to WiFi and remove the ethernet cable from your laptop

This isn't working. I keep getting the "Couldn't connect" error
