Hi all, I too purchased the Cable matters adapter from Amazon UK https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BBD7NFU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I can confirm that Plex, Amazon Prime, Netflix and the LG app store all work fine despite the TV saying that there is no internet connection via LAN or Wifi. Also it appears that everything seems to load up a tad quicker.
