  1. I have a similar problem with a favorite website where I get an error message that the videos cannot be played. It started about 3 updates ago. Before that web update from LG, for my UJ6200, all the videos from this website played fine, but not after that update. I've called tech support at least 2x about this and the first answer was that the next update would fix the issue but at least two updates later, and the problem persists. The other night, I called again and customer service went on that same website and said that even in the newer high end LG tv models, the videos got the same error code and the solution he recommended was for me to buy a roku stick to access that website and get the videos to play. This isn't an acceptable solution to me because I got this smart tv to play videos from this site and others. What good is a smart tv if I need a work around which requires me to purchase another device in order to play streaming video that used to work before one of their updates broke the ability to play them. In fact, I have a friend wanting a new smart tv. and now that I now that even the latest high end LG models won't play content from this site, I can't at all recommend and LG tv to her even if I like the picture and all other features. Too bad LG can't fix the problem.
  2. I have an LG UJ6200 that has worked fine for several yrs. and last night I decided to update it from 5.8.03, I believe to the latest version, 6.04, I think. Every thing is working except for one website that is my favorite. Prviously I was able to play all streaming video content but now when I try to play a video on the site I get a message: content cannnot be played error code 232011. Very frustrating as this is one of the reasons I got the tv in the first place. Don't know why this is happening and dont' see a way to go back to the previous update. Would doing a factory reset bring me back to the original operating system setting or just keep the newest update in place? Also, I notice a lot of new user agreements that I probably didn't pay attention to before and didn't agree to. Is it possible that my not checking the boxes to agree to all the agreements, that seem pretty invasive to me, is preventing some content from playing? This hasn't affected Netflix, or regular you tube videos, by the way, so not sure if my not agreeing to all the user terms is the issue. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
  3. This really isn't a new question but haven't been on the forum for awhile and have a renewed need to find an answer if one exists. I've got a 43" UJ 6200 tv that has been working pretty well for a few yrs. while connected by wired, (ehternet) cable directly to my modem. I've never connected using wi fi and actually prefer the ethernet connection, but have a new possible need to connect via wi fi. I've tried a few times but haven't found a way to do it and I believe I saw previously posted that there's a glitch in this tv for the wi fi connection in that it just doesn't work. If anyone can help with this issue, it would be appreciated. Thanks, Ken
  4. I haven't as I didn't want to go through all my custom picture and other settings, but I thought I've seen that somebody did that. Could be mistaken about that. If I knew it would fix the problem, I'd try it and just renew all my settings.
  5. Similar problem with the annoying pop up messages for my 43 UJ6200 . Messages most often that an unknown device is disconnected, followed immedietly with unknown device is connected and it's repeated many times, then stops for a short or long time, and then happens again with varying frequency. Occasionally, I get the pop up that my Lan connection is disconnected followed by Lan connection is connected. By the way, I only connect via an ethernet cable to my router so wifi isn't even set up for my tv. The only other device connected is my cable box via an HDMI cable. All connections have been checked and tv has been power cycled in a specific way as per LG support advice and tv dusted in back also per support instructions, but problem persists and is very annoying at times. Someone mentioned problem persists after changing out motherboard, so his assumption was that it's software related. Would be great is someone from LG could read this and pass it along to find a fix for it .
  6. I don't have an answer but have been noticing a slight out of sync betw. the audio and video when streaming from certain websites and on some tv cable channels. I'm connected to the internet via ethernet and HDMI cable to my cable box. My TV is a 43 UJ6200 with the latest firmware update of, 05.80.02 I have the sync adjustment turned on and set to a low level, not sure what the number is though, but don't know enough about it to know what setting is best. When I briefly played around with it and turned it off and on again, didn't really notice any difference. Netfix and youtube videos play very well but it does show up on other sites and my tv. My internet speed varies betw. 84-100 mps download. My webOS TV Version is, 3.8.0-61202 dreadlocks2-dunggir I could use some help to see if anyone else has this issue and if there are any solutions.
  7. Hi George, I emailed LG about the issue. Not sure what dept. I sent the email to but got a reply that instructed me to reset my tv to factory settings for the new firmware update to take effect. I never did that for the other firmware updates I've done for this tv and never knew that was advisable or part of the instructions. I'd have to go back and reconfigure my picture settings as I did it all manually to some custom settings. Have you heard that this is required after updating the software? The website I mentioned is trying to find a solution, but don't have one yet. The website is: timelesstoday.tv All content plays on my computer but not my tv. I'd be surprised if they played on your tv, but that might offer some clues, if it did. My tv again is: 43 UJ 6200 with latest software update- 04.70.50 Thanks again for your help. Ken
  8. Oh, forgot to mention that I don't have this problem when I connect with my computer and android phone, so must be related to the webOS.
  9. Hi George, thanks for your reply. I've been in contact with the website but so far, no answer. I think you understood my question but just to clarify, the website loads just like it used to but neither video nor audio streams will play. Just get the spinning circle. Since I don't have that problem on other sites, I can't figure out what I can change on my end. I just joined this forum and started searching online to try to find an answer, but it might come down to whether the web site can find a solution, and I might be the only person or at least the first one, with this problem. Do you think it's worth it for me to contact LG about it? I read that there will be an update to webOS 3.5 to 4.0 sometime this year but of course have no idea if that would help.
  10. I have a 43 UJ 6200 smart tv and it's been working well for the most part since Nov. 2017. Just the other day, 7/20/18, streaming video and audio will no longer play on one particular website. I just get that spinning circle. I don't have any issues playing content on any other website I try, including netflix, youtube, and many others. I use an ethernet connection and my recent download speeds are between 80-100 mbs, , and I have the latest firmware update installed. Just read that the webOS doesn't support Adobe Flash, so maybe that's the problem here, but like I said, I've been able to watch all content from this site until just the other day and don't know if they changed anything relating to Flash. Any help is greatly appreciated.
