Hi all,

I have the following problem: I own a 2018 E8 LG OLED TV which was bought in Germany and now runs WebOS 4.10.31.

When the E8 came out LG had announced to support Amazon's Alexa via the LG Smart ThinQ Skill but this has not

materialized - only the 2019er models are supported (which I think run webOS 4.5). What can be done?

I thought perhaps to try to write a Skill myself (I have some experience with this) using webOS. Question, is this possible

at all? Can I control the basic TV functions (switch on, off, volume up, down, etc) through webOS? If yes, where is the

API documented? Any other advice?

      Sky News stopped working after the webOS update

      webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
      I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.
      Does anybody have any suggestions of what I might try to get this working again, or is this something for LG, or Sky, to fix?

      As the title say, it is unfortunate that we cannot have access in those two apps and as far as I know many ppl waiting for them to be added… Hope to see them soon in webos app list. Thank you in advance.

      Problem simultaneously using hdmi soundbar and headphones in 3.5mm jack

      I've just purchased an OLED48 C44 LA which comes with a US 60T soundbar. I've connected the soundbar to the HDMI earc socket. Because my hearing isn't too good I'd like to also have some heaphones plugged into the 3.5mm socket so that both the hdmi earc and 3.5mm socket have sound simultaneously. I've been into accessablity menu and the listen together option doesn't appear to offer both hdmiearc and 3.5 mm simultaneously. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
      just to be clear, There is a setting which permits TV speakers plus wired external headphones. I just haven't found a setting which allows HDMI earc soundbar plus wired headphones.
