  1. Thanks to @Peter Alexander and @SSM we have confirmation of webOS 4.0 compatibility within the release notes and information listed for their respective apps in the below topic. We've confirmed the iOS version changes: We've also confirmed Android: Both version updated were added this week. We are waiting for an official webOS 4.0 press release from LG and additional information on what models are supported.
  2. Hi, I bought this TV in Israel but it doesn't have the option to set Google Assistant in it, It's running WebOS 4.0 but for some reason LG decided to remove it from the models they sell here. Can I manually install the apps on my tv? Can I install the US firmware instead?
  3. We don't have any official LG press release information but just yesterday, two articles surfaced online about Samsung and LG battling it out with their TV operating systems. Samsung with Tizen 4.0 and LG with webOS 4.0. Not sure if this just stems from overzealous writers, but CES is just around the corner on January 9th - 12th, and that is where LG usually announces something. If you recall, this is where we learned about upcoming webOS releases. So is webOS 4.0 coming out? if you read these articles, you would thinks so.. http://english.etnews.com/20171226200003 http://www.avcesar.com/actu/id-23537/ces-18-smart-tv-samsung-tizen-40-et-lg-webos-40-objectif-smart-home.html Keep an eye out for leaked information ahead of CES. We don't know for sure at this point, and we can only assume webOS 4.0 is coming.
