  1. My second LG SMART WEBIS TV has died in the past 7 years. Same thing, Black Screen but Audio is great. The first tv died 2 weeks after extended warranty expired, this past TV, yesterday, has done same thing but 6 months after Extended Warranty expired. My question is: Has anyone, here or that you know of, have had this happen? It makes me sick to my stomach. LG knows how many hours and minutes the TV is on and it seems to me that they have a switch that kills the TV when they think a new one should be bought. Stupid me bought a second LG TV thinking the first was a fluke but now I am dead suspicious. I have Sony, Samsung and Sharp TV's well into their 8 to 10th years and they are all perfect. I'm mad as hell and want something from LG for this. Please let me know if anyone else has had this problem. It's too expensive to fix and cheaper to buy new but it certainly will never be an LG.
