I was in a similar situation about 18 months ago. There are suggested workarounds that I found, that required purchasing a Logitec or Harmony remote control to re-programme the region setting But really, its not worth all the effort and uncertainty and the best solution is simply to buy a media box with Kodi loaded and then you will be able to stream anything, and there will be more choices, not just the ones LG let you install.
