Yes, there is a solution if you want your LG tv to startup on the HDMI input that it was using when you shut it off the last time instead of displaying the Home screen on each startup. And the solution is quite simple. I found it at the following website: https://methodshop.com/change-lg-tv-home-screen/ It is just a matter of disabling 2 settings for your Home screen. Now my LG TV is working like I want it to.
