I have an LG TV and for the last year at least have always had this problem re the lan cable disconnect / reconnected. What amazes me is that there has been almost no response from LG itself to either explain the problem and how to fix it or issue a firmware fix. As I also have had many other problems with the T V remote and the webos I certainly will not buy an LG TV again.

It was okay for two days with no problem but then it happened again and is still disconnecting/reconecting altough nowhere neqr as often as before. The setting is in the "Network" option

I hd this problem constantly. I turned of "Automatic" on my Wired connection Internet so it is now "normal" and it seems to have solved the problem.

You are amazing. how did you know I ignored your post and did not read your thread? If you read earlier post you will see that others have done what you have done, but the fault remained, as I found out (!!!)
