Did you ever work this out? I have the same problem with my LG TV - I cannot work out how to record a series of programmes rather than just one programme. This feature has been on PVRs for ever so must surely be available. (I know how to do this from the Guide but more usually use Voice Search to find a programme - and then am only presented with the option of recording the next episode, not the entire series/season).
