So the LG service came and took the TV. They said it will take about a week to repair it. Just wanted to let you guys know.

Did LG tech service say anything about the issue? I have given them a call but they have yet to return.

I have the same issue with the 42LB652V model in Turkey. The TV would not open after I tried to restart it for the update to install. Still waiting for a reply from the LG tech service.
