Magic remote refuses to wake up

I have similar problem, my previous LG the remote woke up instantly, sometimes even with slightest bump. But with C9, i have to shake it or press a button to wake it up, this is an annoying feature. I want the cursor to come to the screen without shaking for 5-10 seconds. Any solution for this?
