  1. thanks for the idea! I, too, was looking for cord management and this idea never occurred to me. I busted out the USB extension & power adaptor I sure was going straight to the landfill and problem solved: we dont have to wait for the Roku to boot & probably what was more concerning was the TV freaks out while the Roku boots (flashes black multiple times) & once crashed the display driver to the point of being all green with lots of vertical black lines - unplugging the TV was the only way to reboot it. needless to say, on a 1d old TV, not very comforting - now we dont have to worry about this failure vector! and, for the record, it would be great if WebOS had a s/w switch to enable USB ports to always be powered.
