 I know this will probably get buried but ive just started writing a replacement for Smartshare, because i really hate the UI and the whole user expreience in general. I was planning on implementing SMB support once i get the UI working

i have no timeline at present, as its probably going to be a hobby project when I have free time, which isnt a lot right now.

Any other features that i should look into implementing?

No other features for me... Samba would make me really really really REALLY happy!

How did you get netword folders to show up in the first place? The TV only supports DLNA

Please Please Please Just give us Samba/SMB share and i wont even mention, the utterly horrible slow WebOS, the lack of support with 2.0 for our 2014 machines or the questionable quality of the panel with loads of bleeding...

Just give me SAMBA PLEASE!
