  1. Hi all, I bought LG 42LB670V two months ago after good experience with 55LA660S which bought my father last year. I was kind of thrilled that this TV uses WebOS and allows user way better multitasking a and is more responsive than usual Smart TVs. After two month I can say I am satisfied with this TV - picture is good, user interface is smooth if you wait a moment right after start so I don't regret spent money. But since I am the kind of user who is looking for bugs and is annoyed with them I want to share some of the problems I have and I believe that some member from this community will be able to help solve them. 1) I use practically all the time DLNA to watch movies and TV Shows which works very well with my Serviio Server running on my PC but I have problems with displaying subtitles. The TV lacks any support for text formatting. Every time there is italic or bold line in the subtitles TV just simply displays proper tags and don't format the text. So in some cases I got annoying <i></i> and <b></b> tags which sucks. 2) There is also coding problem - sometime I need to set manually right coding. Father's SmartTV without WebOS seems to be settings everything automatically. 3) Subtitles in 3D are on... 3D. It may be hard to explain for me but I was watching Gravity through DLNA on my TV and I have problem that the subtitles were on the same layer as is the screen while the picture was let's say deeper or was more plastic a came out of screen. It would be great if the subtitles were in layer which would be on top of the image like when you go into cinema. Hope I explained myself well. 5) There is no possibility to switch audio line while playing MKV through DLNA. I did not try to play it from flashdrive. Any experiences with this issue? 4) Last issue I encoutered is that even I don't have set any power saving or time to power off TV powers off itself after a while without interaction. Sometimes I got just one music channel turned on and I cooking or something and the TV shuts down. It may be after 3 or 4 hours but it is only my guessing. I am running firmware 04.32.20. There is no update available and from what I read in other threads LG is not planning to update 2014 year models to WebOS 2.0 which is really shame. Is there any community developing custom system like it is done by members XDA for phones? Thank you for all answers. If I'll come across another issue I will update this thread.
