HDMI/ARC completely dead after update to

I can also confirm this issue with my LG 86SJ957V. I was using Denon AVR-X1400H and my ARC was working without any problem. After the 04.70.85 firmware update, no sound whatsoever. When I select the ARC/Hdmi in the TV it doesn't even turn on the receiver. Should I wait for the next firmware or should I buy a media player?
