I would hope that the TV's are not in these awards 2 tvs 5yrs....that's it, he sound but no picture. I'm finished with LG .... Appears to be something wrong because as soon as the paid warranty is finished they both basically had same infixable problem. Disgusted with LG. LIFE IS HOID making money selling tvs that only last a couple yrs each. 

I believe I read a news release that LG was going out of the smart phone business. Don't quote me on that but I have everything LG AND WAS DISAPPOINTED WHEN I READ IT. Then last night, was the last straw.  I'm getting rid of everything LG because I ve been duped by them once too often.

My second LG SMART WEBIS TV has died in the past 7 years.

Same thing, Black Screen but Audio is great.

The first tv died 2 weeks after extended warranty expired, this past TV, yesterday, has done same thing but 6 months after Extended Warranty expired. My question is: Has anyone, here or that you know of, have had this happen? It makes me sick to my stomach.  LG knows how many hours and minutes the TV is on and it seems to me that they have a switch that kills the TV when they think a new one should be bought. 

Stupid me bought a second LG TV thinking the first was a fluke but now I am dead suspicious. I have Sony, Samsung and Sharp TV's well into their 8 to 10th years and they are all perfect.  I'm mad as hell and want something from LG for this. 

Please let me know if anyone else has had this problem. It's too expensive to fix and cheaper to buy new but it certainly will never be an LG. 

George I have no idea where you get all your apps on your LG smart TV the only apps I get for streaming are Netflix and Utube all others are foreign languages and are useless to me! My previous LG I got Dailymotion but this new LG has nothing like that! This is also a new LG!

I know it is not my computer or main streaming device but if i want to stream i should be able too!  Enough said! No excuses! LG is not updating me with the apps they have provided to you or many others!

George you must work for LG!!!! I know many people with Smart TVs and not problems!  I am finished with LG!
