    Hi,

I recently bought an LG UK6500PLA TV (my first LG), but I have a difficult time streaming content (Wifi connected), e.g. Netflix series is streaming in low resolution.  The router is only 10 feet away from TV (but ethernet is not an option) and uses a 5GH frequency range.

I have tried making a speed test at fast.com, for both the TV (through the Webbrowser) and for my laptop and iPhone. The speed test for TV showed 2.5 Mbps and my laptop and iPhone showed 110 Mbps. Can there really be such a big difference? I am starting to wonder if this might be a warranty issue?

Do any of you guys have experience with bad Wifi reception on your LG TV or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

    Br,

    Nick

We both experiencing the same problem until now, if your WIFI is just 10 feet away from your TV?  What I did was I placed the router behind my TV and nothing happened. The only way to watch youtube is to unplug my TV cord from the sucket and plug it again  and turn back the TV on and choose LG content and then click youtube that the only to watch videos from youtube and some other apps.

So some questions that must be asked:

    1. WiFi or network cable?
    2. Is the TV built for your region or is it an import?
    3. Are you behind any weird firewalls or do you have your DNS set to something other than the regional norm.

Question 1. I tried it both wired and wireless connection,

before i was enjoying it but then after a few firmware update it goes like that.

    2. It is imported to my region. AccuWeather and youtube sets my location.

    3. Internet is within my house no partition or wall that can block my TV from the internet.
