I updated my 49SJ800V TV's firmware from 04.70.95 to 05.80.15 and my smart remote controller not working properly. I can't use cursor and back button also i have connection problem with LAN and WLAN. I use my tv with cable connection but every 15 minutes LAN disconnecting and try to connect again. I resetted my tv to factory settings but  result is same.  I can't  use my tv now normally. how can i downgrade my tv's to last working firmware. I couldn' t find old firmware.  Could you help me to downgrade my tv' s FW ?

ever since i updated to the last fw, my tv turned into a total piece of trash ,

although it was not working so well before the update but after that, it is completely useless i can tell you . 

wondering how much longer we have to wait for a real fix ...

been facing this issue since may 2018 and it get worse and worse with  any new update ...

plz fully  test fw  before u turn our tvs into a useless pos .

I have the same exact issue since the last update, i tried to contact with support but they told me that i should send it to local LG service. Its obviously a firmware issue and there is no way to downgrade, my tv is literally not useable right now.  49SJ800V on 05.80.15 fw version. I found a fix by myself but its temporary. If you disable Wi-Fi  or Ethernet the problem goes away but you can't use any of the online features. Hope they fix this ASAP.

same issue wifi and remote control stop responding randomly since 05.80.15, model 43uj750v.

the TV is now unusable outside manual control located on the bottom of the screen.

revert to factory settings didn't help much, after a couple of days the TV become unusable again.

LG software Q&A is disgusting.

I called the LG local service and made a servise request. When they came home they only opened the back of the television and clean and fixed the sockets. It means there was a socket cable that was wrapped. They opened it and flattened it. My problem resolved my TV is working properly and they didn't make any FW downgrade. My firmvire version is 05.80.15 Ithink you need to call your local LG service and tell them my story 🙂

      Sky News stopped working after the webOS update

      webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
      I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.

      Press the Home/Smart button on your remote to bring up your launcher bar.
      Click the Settings icon in the top-right.
      Choose the All Settings option at the bottom.
      Choose the General menu from the left.
      Scroll down, near the bottom of the list, and select About this TV.
      From here, make sure Allow automatic updates is checked, and click the Check for updates button.

      I have a problem with my new LG OLED G2 newest version 4 firmware.
      I tried sorting my satellite channels with chansort programm from github, because sorting them with the tv remote is a pain.
      When I try to sort them with the remote and have selected about 10 or more channels all the selected channels get suddenly getting deselected, so I can only select up to 10 at a time  to 
      sort them -> must be some kind of firmwarebug? 
      After exporting the channellist to a usb stick then editing it with chansort an importing it back into the tv all my channels are gone, all transponderns are deleted.
      First I thought it was a charsort problem but all channels and transponders get also deleted when I simply export them to a usb drive an import them back, without editing the file at all.
      Does someone know how to fix this problem? 
      And yes I´ve done multiple factory resets -> did not fix any of this behaviour.
      I also discoverd another bug the deletes all channels, because I needed to reboot the tv I searched for a reboot option in the tvs menu, but there is no reboot option.
      To do a full reboot (except from forcing it through cutting the tvs power) you can deselect the privicy agreements, after that the tv reboots, but then all channels are gone too.

      PLEX app on both LG Tv's won't connect after last update

      We have two LG TV's that stopped connecting to our PLEX media server after the last update. TImes out saying "Checking connection speed to Raspberrypi" which the PLEX is on
      Upgraded the Mesh Routers before trying anything, still only the PLEX app doesn't work
      Our other TCL TV and Roku and TIVO still work with Plex, so this is only the LG TV's that can't connect anymore.
      Another annoying error after the last update is that any Streaming app (Amazon, Netflix, and DIsney) now fall out of the app and go back to HDMI port 1 if we pause for 30 seconds.  Which we have always done for a Bathroom break or getting drinks.

      I have smart LG tv 2015 model 42LY760H. 
      I think I have WebOs-1 .
      I am trying to find update to download it on USB stick but I couldn't find even on lg official website. 
      Do you have any useful information or link to help me.
