They are available in google play store why not in LG webos.

Because webOS is not Android, Android is not webOS.  It is like expecting an Apple only application to run on Windows.

Hotstar app is available in both Android and ios. So that means is webos one which supports only few and t does not try to have major apps which are widely used.

Are indirectly saying we should not go for LG webos as most of the apps wont be available.

In the same way that there may be apps on webOS that are not available on Samsung Tizen just because something exists for one ecosystem does not mean that it will occur for all of them.  The best way to get webOS support is to continually push the content providers at the links provided.  Yes you can contact LG as well and they may, if you are lucky, liaise with the content providers to help them to produce an app for webOS, but LG themselves cannot necessarily produce an app without help from the content providers themselves.

      Hi,
I have following LG Smart TV :
      Model: 42LM620T-ZE (Software version: 04.62.12  ;  SDK Version: 02.08)
Does my TV have webOS ??
It was purchased in summer 2012 so I know its quite old now.
Also how to check if this TV has Netcast (perhaps 3.0 or  4.0) ??
      Let me know.

      Hi,
LG webOS also needs Flash Player Support  to Stream video content from any website. So that if some apps are not available then  one can visit the website and stream contents directly from the webOS browser.
      Thanks

We need to buy a large number of 4K Smart TVs. We only need to display our plain text events list published on our web server. No RF Tuner, no multiple ports, no multiple apps, no other advanced features needed.

We evaluated your LG 43UJ6300 Ultra HD Smart TV (2017 model). This TV has many more features than we need but yet missing a couple of crucial ones. We could not find anyway to automatically start web browser on start up and we could not disable its screensaver. How do we set & save these two kiosk settings?
