With a sleek, modern design and vivid, ultra-sharp Micro LED picture quality, LG MAGNIT delivers the ultimate in viewing pleasure. Its 136-inch, 4K UHD (3840 x 2160), 120Hz-refresh-rate screen is great for watching movies, TV shows and sporting events – and for admiring artworks – in the privacy of one’s home. By combining the performance of Micro LED with convenient features that enhance content enjoyment, LG has created a unique display for those who demand the very best.

While the quality and size of images shown on LG MAGNIT are sure to captivate, so too will the display’s elegant, minimalist design. LG’s Micro LED solution for the home has a bezel-less screen for immersive viewing experience, and has a sturdy, stylish aluminum frame with a brushed metal finish that complements any interior décor or color scheme. Likewise, the Media Box, which serves as a controller for LG MAGNIT and shares the display’s luxurious yet understated aesthetic, harmonizes beautifully with the surrounding environment.

Having produced such a superlative screen, LG tasked itself with finding a sound partner capable of providing an audio solution that could match MAGNIT in terms of design beauty and outstanding performance. Bang & Olufsen – beloved by audiophiles since 1925 – immediately understood LG’s vision for elevating the home cinema experience, and knew exactly which of its superior sound solutions would best complement LG MAGNIT: the distinctive, dynamic Beolab 90.

Bundled with LG MAGNIT, Bang & Olufsen’s Beolab 90 speakers are the ideal match for LG’s Micro LED innovation in both style and performance. An aesthetic and acoustic masterpiece, Beolab 90 boasts an iconic design featuring curved wooden bases, a series of angular facets covered in sleek fabric, and finishing touches of brushed aluminum. The stunning Beolab 90 sits at the top of Bang & Olufsen’s range of Beolab speakers, all of which are compatible with LG MAGNIT.

Beolab 90 is a floor-standing speaker that adapts output to the space it is in and the type of audio it is reproducing. With 8,200 watts per speaker, 18 premium drivers, 14 channels of 300-watt ICE power amplifiers and 4 channels of 1,000-watt Class D Heliox amplifiers, Bang & Olufsen’s Beolab 90 makes music and soundtracks come to life in a way that few speakers can.

Dedicated to delivering outstanding home cinema and user experiences, LG and Bang & Olufsen conducted several rounds of testing to ensure seamless compatibility between the webOS platform installed on LG MAGNIT, and Bang & Olufsen’s software application. Thanks to these efforts, users can now enjoy the convenience of being able to control both LG MAGNIT and Beolab 90 via Bang & Olufsen’s remote controller.
The LG MAGNIT with Bang & Olufsen’s Beolab 90 speakers is currently on display at international locations. Visitors can experience this pairing at the LG Business Innovation Center in Dubai, UAE, as well as at the Bang & Olufsen store in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Moreover, this exceptional combination will also be presented in the Bang & Olufsen showroom in Costa Mesa, California, USA, which is scheduled in September.

With Six Wheels and Independent Suspension, LG’s Latest Autonomous Serving Robot
Offers Enhanced Service Delivery in Food Retail Environments

SEOUL, July 19, 2023 — LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled its newest LG CLOi ServeBot (model LDLTR30), a smart service robot convenient for places where service is needed, including restaurants. Boasting a quick and stable autonomous driving system that can handle various types of flooring, and an upgraded design with enhanced features, LG CLOi ServeBot ensures reliable service delivery. The new model also has a guide function for helping customers to find their way around, freeing up staff to spend more time on management and administrative duties.
First launched in early 2020, LG CLOi ServeBot is designed to be deployed in public spaces such as restaurants, hospitals and office buildings to assist humans without human-to-human interaction, and is optimized for in-person customer service. The latest version offers enhanced driving performance with 6 wheels and independent suspension, allowing for stable operation on different kinds of flooring, including carpet and braille blocks. It also has a 3D camera and a light detection and ranging (LiDAR) sensor. This enables the CLOi ServeBot to securely transport beverages and meals, including soups and noodles, even when travelling over surfaces with a slope of up to 5 millimeters (0.2 inches). Additionally, this advanced technology lets the CLOi ServeBot navigate obstacles smoothly, ensuring that none of its valuable “cargo” is upset.
The new LG CLOi ServeBot also delivers increased storage capacity and flexibility. Its 4 easy-to-access shelves (21 x 17 inches) – including one that can be used as main drawer – can collectively manage a load of up to 40 kilograms (88 pounds). The upgraded LG CLOi ServeBot offers further convenience with its upper pockets and cup holders, and features an additional bottom drawer that can be used for storing items such as napkins and utensils. For extra versatility, the LG CLOi ServeBot’s shelves are detachable and can be adjusted up or down within a range of 2.8 inches.
LG’s newest CLOi ServeBot provides smarter service thanks to its large 10.1-inch display and built-in content management system. Operators can adapt the autonomous robot for a specific use scenario by choosing an appropriate facial expression and by displaying videos, images or text. As such, LG CLOi ServeBot can communicate relevant information to customers, such as menu recommendations or in-store promotions, and also advertise services from partner companies. Additionally, LG CLOi ServeBot can be used for entertainment purposes, such as displaying customized content for special events and celebrations. What’s more, LG’s new service robots communicate with each other to coordinate their movements; facilitating smooth, efficient operation in food retail environments.
“LG CLOi ServeBot is a reliable partner capable of efficiently carrying out various service delivery tasks, from serving and guiding customers to providing engaging entertainment and useful information,” said Roh Kyu-chan, vice president and head of the robot business division of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company. “Leveraging LG’s autonomous robotic technology, we will continue to consistently deliver new and exciting experiences that bring greater value to our customers.”
LG’s new CLOi ServeBot is currently available in the United States and Japan, with plans for a global rollout in the future.

SEOUL, May 30, 2023 — LG Electronics (LG) has launched its 31.5-inch IPS Black diagnostic monitor (model 32HQ713D). The company’s first medical monitor to employ IPS Black technology, the new model provides sharp, clear images with vibrant colors and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio. LG’s new diagnostic monitor delivers consistent image quality via automatic self-calibration and ease-of-use with 6 convenient hotkeys.
Thanks to an 8-megapixel resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), LG’s IPS Black diagnostic monitor offers the level of clarity needed for medical imaging, including x-rays, mammograms and CT scans. With Multi-Resolution Mode (8, 6 and 4MP), users can adjust screen resolution to suit the type of image being viewed.

Recognizing its duty to society, LG has been committed to ensuring a better life for all on a global scale. For more than 30 years, LG’s Indonesian branch has carried out countless social activities to promote health, education and the environment, as an extension of the company’s sincere efforts to assist the government in enhancing the quality of life for all Indonesians.
To realize social initiatives locally, LG Indonesia has run ‘LG LOVES Indonesia,’ a program made up of three main pillars: ‘LG Loves Green’ for protecting the environment; ‘LG Loves School’ for bettering education; and ‘LG Loves and Cares’ for supporting various social causes.

‘LG Loves School’ is a regular social program that has been running for several years, including providing electronic devices to vocational schools in Jakara and Warungasem last year. This year, Indonesia is continuing its ‘LG LOVES Indonesia’ program, with a focus on solving both environmental and social issues.
      LG Loves Green
The beauty of nature must be safeguarded, and there are countless measures to keep environmental sustainability in check. As far as creating a more sustainable future is concerned, tree planting is among the most effective methods as it not only benefits the natural world, but also mitigates several environmental issues such as global warming and deforestation.

To conclude the ‘LG Loves Green’ initiative, which started with the handing over 4,000 seedlings to the Conservation of Natural Resources Jakarta to celebrate 32 years in Indonesia, LG Indonesia recently donated 13,000 plant seeds to the South Kalimantan Provincial Forestry Service in commemoration of World Earth Day – April 22 – further demonstrating its commitment to environmental conservation, this time in South Kalimantan.

To reach its goal of planting a total of 32,000 trees across the country, the company previously partnered with the South Sumatra Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) to deliver 15,000 plant seeds to South Sumatra.

Through this initiative, LG Indonesia hopes to bring life to a more sustainable environment. In addition to helping the regional government establish a legacy that can be passed down for generations, supplying so many seeds suggests that the company’s corporate social responsibility commitment to the environment has already produced positive results.
      LG Loves and Cares

Besides the environment, the company also prioritizes the importance of health as a key aspect of quality of life. It not only impacts our capacity to live a full and productive life, but also has a tremendous impact on our entire physical and emotional well-being.

Having long understood the significance of health awareness, LG Indonesia arranged yet another social activity to support health initiatives during Eid al-Fitr, a major Indonesian festival. The annual LG Lebaran Sehat (LG Healthy Eid) event seeks to improve the health of residents by making the benefits of good health clear for anyone to see.

For three days in April, three waste treatment facilities benefited from LG Lebaran Sehat’s two main programs: one which distributed food packages to locals and another that offered vital health checkups. Since the program focused on enhancing the quality of public health, every food package was reviewed by a leading nutritionist beforehand to ensure the ideal nutritional balance for improved well-being.

By partnering with Posyandu (Pos Pelayanan Terpadu, Integrated Health Service Posts), the company was able to provide general health checks for children living in the area, vitamins and nutritional supplements and health education sessions highlighting the endless benefits of good health.
With the ‘LG LOVES Indonesia’ campaign continuing throughout the year, stay tuned for more social activities designed to rejuvenate the local environment and enhance the health and education of all Indonesians.
