New *TEST* firmware version 05.00.20 for LB630-LB870, EC930 (Europe)

I've a LB650, everything seems smooth, except for DVB-T2. My TV crashes while watching DVB-T2 channels. It crashes so fast that it is difficult to change the channel to a DVB-T(1) one.

EDIT: I just figured: DVB-T2 *video* support is only enabled in the beta versions. I reverted back to the latest stable version for my TV as of now.

I don't know. Asked them the same question but didn't get a reply.

Lg told me the update would be available last week and be auto , I'm almost scared to try it once it comes out . :)

I will be waiting for them to confirm I can revert to a previous version before I try it. Mind you, the fact that an official update has not happened anywhere else yet makes me a bit doubtful we will actually see anything today.

I have seen members here successfully going back to previous versions but the process seems rather involved . But who knows with the new firmware if that will still be an option .

I reverted my FW back from 05.00.20 to the latest stable on the website, 04.45.25 in my case, recently.

Whether it is difficult or not depends. I used https://github.com/openlgtv/nsu_emuhttps://github.com/chokepoint/pytinydns and it was quite ok. If you're on Windows you may have luck with the "LgDTVUpDater" which claims to be a one stop solution (untested by me, the manual seemed rather complicated).

Hello,

42LB671V updated to 05.00.04 and now there is a problem in Smart Share section becouse TV cant play mkv files from usb stick anymore.

Never had this issue before on older fw-s. This problem has occurred after resetting to factory settings. It was not present right away after OTA update to this fw.

Any idea how to fix this?

This is NOT for UB models! Just LB630-LB870, EC930!

Here you can find TEST/BETA firmwares 05.00.25 for UB850-UB980, UC970:

http://goo.gl/1hWwbL(EUROPE)

http://goo.gl/ok6XNV(CN, HK)

http://goo.gl/ANsWlf(CO, TW)

http://goo.gl/lFXgvI(AUS, NZ)

There is no possibilities to downgrade from Test/Beta to Official firmware, but you can downgrade with un-official tool :)

ok so im slowly going insane, just got a new tv and naturally i couldnt keep my fingers off the "update" button.
before the update the HDR game mode was crisp and bright, after the update it so bloody dim some games are just... way too dark ?

so i tried running a downgrade with lgdtvupdater and got everything to work but when its time to actually download the update to the tv it says that "the update cannot be applied".  everything in the logs are showing ok. but it just wont save to the tv.  it doesnt even start the download, altho i can clearly see in the logs the update is correct and the tv has given the "all clear" to the update server.

am i missing something here ?

I have LG 6500 series LED smart TV with WEBOS 2.0. Overall very happy with this; however, there is limited app available for WEBOS. Is there a way to convert this to Andriod and get Google Play Store to make it more useful tv for my family? Any help....

      Hi,
I have just got my new LG 49LJ594V TV hung on the wall and so far I love it but I have a few questions.
Can it be linked to Alexa? Can I upgrade the webOS past 3.7? Currently it says that it is running software 04.70.50 and no further updates are available and the webOS version is 3.7.2-57413 (dreadlocks2-drto)

Any advise will be greatly recieved

      Paul
