  1. Bought a new 65" Smart TV, all the preoaded apps You Tube, Netflix etc are restarting after couple of minutes with "this app will now restart to free up more memory" message.
  2. I have a 49UJ634V television. When I install the YouTube app from the content store the app starts to reboot with the pop-up “out of memory app will restart” but this is then with everything . Live-tv, guide, etc this is a app problem beacause when I delete the app everything else works fine again.
  3. Try to manufacture 'smart tv's' with sufficient memory to actually run the WebOS apps you claim they can run without those apps crashing with 'out of memory....' errors. This has plagued LG TV's for years and LG still do nothing about it. Memory modules are really low cost items and 32Gb would be a minimum. This might also negate the necessity of having to use separate USB Hard Disk for basic recording and time machine functionality to work something other smart TV manufacturers managed to achieve years ago.
  4. TV MODEL: LG 43UJ635V DATE OF PURCHASE: 21/11/2017 (4 days ago from post date) RETAILER: ARGOS UK WEBOS VERSION: Can't check right now but after I got the TV I updated straightaway to 4.7.XX INTERNET SPEED: 75Mbps Down / 20 Mbps Up Hello, I've recently purchased the LG 43UJ635V, as soon as I turned it on and went through first time setup I noticed there was a bit of lag in the animation when I pressed the home button (the moment all the tiles 'bounce' up), however whenever I get off that menu the animation is smooth and everything else is fine. This always happens, I have tried resetting the TV to its initial state and nothing has changed. - Just wondering if anyone else has had that issue? At one point I changed some of the image quality settings and the whole OS just started lagging making it difficult to navigate so I had to reset the TV for the 3rd time. Also, occasionally when using apps such as YouTube or the web browser the app will restart with a notification in the top right saying the restart was to clear some memory. Although this isn't too common, I've seen other posts from months ago about people having a similar issue but the apps constantly restart. I close all recent apps which doesn't change the lag on the home menu but I haven't seen the restart notification in a while which seems like a good sign but I also have been using the internet browser much. With all the negative experiences I've read about, (related to the memory and general lag) I'm not sure whether I should return the TV or not. Thank you. TL;DR: Lag when pressing the home button and all icons appear but no lag when returning to the current app, occasional app restarts due to a low amount of memory.
  5. Hi I have problem with my smart TV with this specification "42LB67000GI", And i need your knowledge. So my problem is with "Web Browser" and i can't use "WiFi Direct", And i mention that i'm using a smart TV, -Web Browser problems : 1."Web page was unexpectedly terminated. To continue, reload or go to another page." 2."The page you are trying to view is too large. To continue, reload or go to another page". -Shown in pages including more than 27 items which you need to scrolling down. 3."This app will now restart to free up more memory". -Shown after you browsing sites including graphical pictures in the home page, like movie sites, LIKE netflix. -WiFi Direct : LG smart TV request password to allow my smart phone for connect to WiFi Direct, it's good and fantastic BUT THERE IS NOT ANY PASSWORD TO ENTER. Before anything Thank you for your viewing.
  6. Hello everyone! I am developping a web application to display in a Smart TV. This app reproduced a video flow that comes from a IP cam. The problem I have, is that the browser of the TV stores every flows as an image in the memory, so in a few time the memory is full and the borwser gets slow until it stop working. Has anybody a similar problem? I can't display an app which takes 5 minutes switching views :S Thanks to everyone.
