  1. I have a NANO91ANA LG TV connected via HDMI to a Yamaha RX-V677 Receiver. Normally when I turn the TV on it also turns the receiver on and I can control volume via the LG remote, whether it is an app on the TV or from another device connected to my receiver (Apple TV or cable box). Now the receiver is not turning on and ARC audio is not working. I think there may have been a software update the other day, but I'm not sure. However, everything was working properly until last night. The last time this happened it seemed to correct itself (it seems to be kind of sporadic), but this time it did not. I do not know what to do to correct this, but it is a major pain as I'm now having to deal with 4 remotes, plus I can't get sound out of my surround speakers when using an app on the TV. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  2. There is a thread about the issue. Please use it instead. TL;DR unplugging and plugging the HDMI cable back to the TV fixes the problem until the TV is turned off. Next time the TV is on I have to repeat this. I have the following setup: TV: LG SK8500PL SW Version: 05.50.10 webOS TV Version: 4.4.2-10 (goldilocks-gorongosa) Soundbar: Samsung Q950A connected via HDMI ARC port. It used to work OK but one day it stopped reproducing sound from the soundbar. When I try to adjust the volume I just have a grey DISABLED icon. So far, I have tried to play with all kind of options from the menu of the TV and I have power cycled it, factory reset the TV as well. I have tested the soundbar and the cable with my other LG TV and it works perfectly. I am assuming it is a hardware problem with the port, but I just wanted to ask here for any advice? Today unplugged and replugged the cable (again). The issue was gone. Could be some SW update on the Soundbar as I had a BT sync issues which are now gone.
  3. This LG OLED 55A1PUA keeps hutting off the sound bar. Thought it was the sound bar - replaced sound bar and this issue is still here. How do i fix this? Is this a TV issue?
  4. Dear Readers,I've a strange issue that I've been struggling for a week. I bought an LG43UJ634V UHD TV and an LG LHB645N Home Theater in a Box system.I use HDMI ARC to connect the audio from the TV to receiver. LG has an option to chose between PCM or Auto at the Digital output settings. If I use the PCM option everything sounds great, but I don't have 5.1, only 2.1.And here comes the problem. When I choose Auto, 5.1 is on, sounds great but I have occasional popping noise (like when play something on an old LP player) it happens random, but for example during a film, it is very annoying. It happens with YouTube, Netflix, DLNA streaming, external devices, so the content doesn't matter. I think I've tried everything. I tested it with different HDMI cables, optical cable, but still have the problem. I tested it with a sound bar as well, the problem is the same. When I play content from the receiver, there is no problem, the sound is wonderful, no popping. Also, the TVs speakers are okay.I don't think it is a hardware issue, because the TV's sound is OK, the home theater's sound is OK, the problem only happens when I want to use the digital output of the TV (either HDMI ARC or Optical) with auto setting.I called LG as well, the rep. said the she will pass this info to the technical team.Do you have any idea, that it can be solved, or I need to wait for a software update?
  5. No sound coming from av receiver when using apps on LG cx . I have CEC on Integra DRX 3.3 and simplink on the tv turned on. Sound is fine otherwise.
  6. Dear Friends , Really looking forward to your help and support My problem is i can not make work the HDMI ARC conection between TV and Sound Bar So far: TV LG OLED55B7P-S (latest firmware) Sound Bar LG SK9Y (latest firmware) NVidia Shield Pro 2017 (latest firmware in my region, waiting for Oreo) HD Set Top Box Arris/Motorola (Cable) HDMI Used the device manager on the WebOS to connect the Sound Bar , assigned HDMI ARC , Simplink , and tried both auto power yes and no, sound test did not work NVidia shield connected to SK9Y HDMI IN , HDMI OUT (ARC) to TV LG HDMI 2 (ARC) Works fine image and sound, sound of course is ok as it goes from NVidia to SK9Y directly HD cable top box to TV LG HDMI 4 and I get no sound from the TV thru the HDMI ARC port (previously establish HDMI 2 (ARC) to sound bar) I plug in the optical and works fine, Internal tv speakers works fine , BT fine….everything works but the HDMI ARC. What I am doing wrong? I am worry it may be a HDMI ARC port problem, TV Is about 3 months old, soundbar is about 2 weeks old Thank you in advance
