Would love to auto start the Alexa app so my smart home can connect to it automatically when I turn it on from a plug since you can't turn on the tv with the hubs. One small workaround instead of trying to figure out how to turn on the tv from a hub since it disconnects from the wifi when it powers off.

Hi all, If u all can check, alexa on my lg c2 oled 55 inch has stopped working sometimes it gives error like its unable to connect to server and now when i give commands to play or pause any music or video, it says it can not do it. I have reset it multiple times it does not work. Many users on alexa app skills for lg tv webos are also talking about the same, that means its not limited to me only

hi, i have a uk6300 webos tv. i baught it becase it said google assistant is available.but what i tried to add voice commands i found that aoogle assistnt, alexa and home dashboard is mising and cant find in the LG store..and it has limited amount of service countries to select. i am in sri lanka and google assistant works in my phone.plas help me to install google assistant and home dashboard on my TV.

LG has unveiled the pricing and release plans for some of its 2019 OLED TV lineup, basically mirroring the company’s playbook from last year. These are some of the very best TVs you can buy, so LG is continuing to price them as such. The 2019 C9 (65-inch, 55-inch) and E9 (65-inch) series TVs will start shipping in April. The 77-inch model of the C9 and 55-inch E9 will hit stores a bit later in May and June, respectively. And this year’s update to LG’s “wallpaper” TVs — to be available in 65- and 75-inch sizes — will come out in June. (If you were wondering, no, there’s still not at a firm price or release date for the stunning rollable TV.) LG’s TV branding can be pretty confusing, but all of these TVs fundamentally share the same display quality and the latest features that the company first announced at CES: that includes AirPlay 2, built-in support for Amazon Alexa voice commands, improved image processing, and more. LG claims itself as the only major TV manufacturer offering both Alexa and Google Assistant out of the box, whereas some other brands (Samsung, Roku TVs, etc.) only support them through external speakers you might already own. The TVs also feature HDMI 2.1, future-proofing them for any content (and just about any frame rate) that might be coming down the pipe over the next several years. But they differ in what’s around the screen; the E9 series has glass on all four sides, most noticeably at the bottom. The C9 doesn’t get quite that fancy. And the W9 (wallpaper) series puts the same display into a design that’s almost unfathomably thin. LG has said only its 2019 TVs will gain AirPlay 2 and HomeKit functionality; other TV makers including Samsung and Vizio are also adding the useful feature to their older sets. Hi, I have just got my new LG 49LJ594V TV hung on the wall and so far I love it but I have a few questions. Can it be linked to Alexa? Can I upgrade the webOS past 3.7? Currently it says that it is running software 04.70.50 and no further updates are available and the webOS version is 3.7.2-57413 (dreadlocks2-drto) Any advise will be greatly recieved Paul

From The Verge: LG is putting all the software in its new fridge. At CES today, it announced a connected “smart refrigerator” that includes both the webOS operating system and integration with Amazon’s Alexa assistant. This means that the fridge can do everything from automatically adjust its power settings to order groceries with your voice. The smart fridge has a 29-inch front touchscreen with something called Instaview, a “door in door” that can turn translucent to show you the contents of your fridge. LG also touts its ability to look up recipes, play music, check the weather, and shop online. Instead of sticky notes, users can leave notes and tags on the front using webOS, and a “fresh tracker” can keep track of food expiration dates. Third-party integration with Alexa also means you can use voice commands instead of the touchscreen.
