  1. CES is a 2 weeks away, what will LG showcase? http://www.cesweb.org/ We already know that webOS 2.0 is coming to LG smart TVs, but now we are hearing that they may have an 8K TV and possibly some new wearables. Are these wearables going to include a webOS smartwatch? We'll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, Engadget has an interesting article about where LG has been and where they think they are going at CES: With webOS and wearables, LG's moving beyond just displays at CES "Whereas a continued push into Google's Android Wear is a certainty for LG, its plans to pursue an alternative wearables platform with webOS are not as clear. A few months back, images from a developer page for LG's webOS-based wearables surfaced and were then quickly pulled. But if the company is looking to create its own operating system for wearables, there's a good chance we may hear more about it in the halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center."
  2. Trusted Reviews wrote an article that is a good read about what to expect ate CES 2015: http://www.trustedreviews.com/news/ces-2015-what-to-expect One expectation is... Google also announced at the time that it had reached agreements with Sony, Sharp, and Philips to include Android TV in their 2015 HDTV ranges. As such, we're expecting to see a whole bunch of top end TV sets running on Android TV at CES 2015. Don't expect Samsung and LG to join the Android TV party just yet though. Both Korean manufacturers are keen to push their own platforms. With Samsung known to be looking to reduce its reliance on Google, LG last year introduced its new webOS TV platform, the undoubted leader of the current group.
