Habemos personas que aún la usamos, escríbemeHola LG WebOS hay muchas excelente apps para la hp touchpad que ya no sirven hace poco dejo de funiconar Flickr Mundo HD un app demasiado bueno para visualizar las fotos desde flickr, el hardware demasiado bueno pero sin apps y las pocas que quedan poco a poco las van matando, por favor no dejar que muera webOS en los demás aparatos o realizar una actulización para poder soportar los mismos, muchas gracias por su atención a esta petición y a un fanático a webOS.

I live in Dubai, and i have an OLED LG TV - when I open the LG Contect store I only get two apps that I am able to download Accu weather and amazon prime the interface is quite different to what i have seen online, can someone help?

Open the file on the PC with notepad and keep it the same .. try againSame issue here.. I don't see subtitles from .mkv files on my tv 65UH8507. Please post a fix !

In which country do you get more? Thanks for the tipIf your not finding some apps. Try to change your country in the settings. I went through every country and found some different apps. You will have to reboot the tv each time you change it. After you download what you want simply change your country back.

in my case I own TV LG LF 5900 which will not update more. LG support always tells me who know nothing about updates for this equipment. I do know what they think. buy a new one. unfortunately I will never buy LG

I have no problem in playing movies in mkv. if I have captions separately with str extention. yts page view from Google.The subtitles are embedded in the .mkv file. There is no seperate subtitle file. If this .mkv file has two seperate subtitle tracks. I've been doing some experimenting and found that at least the way I'm encoding my videos that the TV is only compatible with SRT type subtitles. Also if you have multiple subtitle tracks the SRT track has to be placed before the VOB (dvd) subtitle track. I used mkvmerge to reorder the subtitle tracks and then it worked. It also doesn't seem to recognize PGS (bluray) subtitle tracks embedded in .mkv files. I guess I can download the SRT file from the web and merge it the mkv produced from the bluray.
I'm going to try the LG plex app instead of the native player and see if that works better.

check that the subtitle file name is accurate mind to the film. Example: sanson.mkv sanson.str with it should go.I just purchased a LG 55UH6090 4k web OS 3 television. I connect to my Plex media server via wifi network and using what I believe to be Smartshare everything appears ok. All my video folders show up properly. All the video files inside these folders show up normally and the video plays with no problem. Unfortunately the subtitles do not display. It detects the subtitle track since the sub icon is not grayed out. I've toggled the icon on and off multipke times and subtitkes do not appear. Playing the same video file via USB connection produces the same result. Video and audio but no subtitles. The video is a .mkv file with embedded subtitles. This same file plays 100% correctly through my Samsung smart tv, Samsung bluray player and my WDTV live hub. It plays properly via USB and wifi from Plex media server. Only device which has a problem is my webOS 3 tv from lg. Any ideas? Thanks

Here is something very interesting. If you are not sure what you are looking at, It’s the code repository of Open-webOS. That’s the code originally released by Hewlett Packard and developed by LG electronics. What it shows is webOS being tested on a Nexus 5.
