  1. Hi, just bought a new LG OLED and pretty fast noticed that I`ve now chance to change the wallpapers ?!? Really pretty strange - even the smallest smartphone offers such a feature. The TV has enough USB interfaces - why is it not able to customize this by an own set of pictures ? Can`t be that big rocket science to implement this , especially for such an expensive device this should be a standard feature !!! Or did I miss something in the settings of the TV ?

  2. Got this this morning from VOD365 "Good Morning Unfortunately we not yet support HbbTV, this is due to change later in the year but as yet we do not have a date." Please keep us posted on Watchdog. The whole situation is a mess.

  3. There is no simple solution to this. 2018 LG TVs receive the channels 2019 don’t. LG blame Freeview and the broadcasters. Freeview said speak to the broadcaster and the broadcaster said there is not problem with their broadcast standards. The fact that these channels are available on older LG’s and the latest Samsung’s and Panasonic suggest it is an LG issue to fix. LG so far have been dismissive of this issue and do not plan to change it. I think the best way to get them to rethink is though public awareness as there is no way of knowing about this issue before you purchase an LG. I have reported this to BBC Watchdog and if enough of us do this the it may get some air time. As make use of social media to let people know that the latest LG do not revive all Freeview channels

  4. Jio Tv and Airtel Xstream app aren’t available for any smart tv officially. They won’t ever launch for any smart tv including LG. Jio Cinema is a different case and Jio needs to make the app. Sony LIV is under development and its the sony’s development team thats taking time. But it should be available before April.

  5. Will you build a app for the Silicondust HDHomerun to interface with the LG WebOS? I will pay for it.

  6. @dave2336 The TVs have ample memory to store apps and images. I can't conceive of what ethos LG is trying to project with the 1970s era photo choices it has selected for wallpaper. It's certainly wildly different to the ethos projected by the defaults on their smartphones.

  7. why can't I upload my own pictures to the samples folder for them to be used as the 'no signal' pictures? this is bonkers wasted 3 hours trying to work out how to a) get the tv to show up as a samba share on my network and b) copy photos to the tv for them to be used as the pictures for no signal (various boxes - my Apple TV and sky box take a few secs to boot up and I'd love a random selection of my OWN photos during this time) - this is such a simple thing I can't believe you restrict me from doing it bonkers its this kind of thing that makes you want to hack a tv

  8. Hi @Scott Hamm You would need to submit them directly to LG, see this thread: https://www.lgwebos.com/topic/2550-lg-has-a-feedback-and-suggestions-form/
