None of these suggestions work for me unfortunately. My Surface Pro and LG TV see each other and attempt to connect but don't succeed.

Hi. What source are you viewing? I get brief (0.5 to 2 seconds) dropouts on my new LG 55UH950v TV, but only when viewing my HUMAX Freeview PVR. The dropouts happen whether I use soundbar or TV speakers. I have tried every setting under the sun, on TV and PVR. (bluray player and internal TV tuner dont exhibit the problem). Ive read humax reencode the audio so wonder if that has something to do with it?
