4. After viewing photos/videos on a flashdrive plugged into the USB of an LG TV and using SmartShare to view... and then removing the USB and then no longer having access to the TV... I noticed on the flashdrive a new folder called "LG TV" and within what appears to be files that may have been the thumbnails displayed on the TV. My question is... do those thumbnails also remain on the TV as recent history even without the USB plugged in? The LG Smart TV online user guide refers to "Recent" ("To view a list of recently viewed or added content, select Recent). Would thumbnails be there without the source flashdrive?
5. According to my experience, you must first clear cache on Roku TV with or without remote and then do a factory reset, if possible reboot your Roku device and see how it goes.
6. How do i Use webos account to block tv? if stolen
7. New setup and I can’t change channels using tv magic remote- I have to use set top box remote. Verified setup with LG tech today and it is correct. Upon him checking for solutions he said there is a software bug that is not allowing the magic remote to change channels. Stated a fix is in works but doesn’t know when it will be available. Asked for a supervisor and was told one would call back in a few hours but they didn’t. I can return the tv now but was wondering if others are having this issue and for how long. I don’t want to get stuck with a tv with multiple remotes.

9. I would use your suggestion is unplug your LGTV wait two minutes. Then plug back in and see what happens. Hopefully that solve the ordeal. Not fun to be without a telly. If all else fails ring up LGTV. LGTV provides great customer service.
10. Advanced technologies are making life smarter and more convenient. At home, our living spaces have been upgraded through an ever-expanding ecosystem of connected appliances, devices and technologies. However, despite the time-saving benefits of these impressive innovations, the daily chores we love to avoid haven’t gone away just quite yet. Dedicated to realizing the Zero Labor Home, LG recently brought ‘the complete liberation from housework’ a step closer with the introduction of its groundbreaking household companion, the LG Smart Home AI Agent. Although small in stature, LG’s Smart Home AI Agent has outsized capabilities. Not only does it act as a hub seamlessly connecting and controlling a wide range of home appliances and Internet of Things (IoT) devices,1 it also independently navigates its way around the house thanks to a clever, two-legged wheel design and a raft of cutting-edge tech. Built-in cameras, microphones and various sensors enable LG’s little AI Agent to collect a variety of data from the surrounding environment, which it then leverages to effectively monitor and manage the home. Captured through multi-modal sensing, the collected data is processed and analyzed by the LG home appliance AI platform. This makes it possible for the Smart Home AI Agent to comprehend users’ intentions such as voices and facial expressions, understand its surroundings and recommend specific courses of action (such as activating or changing the settings of a particular connected appliance or device) to create greater ease, simplicity and comfort from the burden of housework. At KBIS 2024 in Las Vegas this February, LG’s versatile Smart Home AI Agent highlighted the progress the company is making toward achieving the Zero Labor Home. Beyond its many abilities as a butler, assistant and companion, the diminutive robot is also quite the dancer. Before an enthralled audience, a group of perfectly-in-sync Smart Home AI Agents showed off their skills on the dancefloor with an endearing and entertaining choreographed routine. Live demonstrations and short videos focusing on real-life usage scenarios at LG’s booth revealed how the AI Agent can help at home, from answering user’s questions, to greeting visitors at the door, to delivering useful notifications from connected appliances and other smart home devices. In the booth’s Laundry section, the robot assumed the duties of a personal butler, offering up useful information, such as when the washing has finished, and helpful suggestions, like the best way to care for one’s laundry. The Kitchen section introduced the AI Agent as a convenient mobile hub and home assistant, seamlessly connecting with LG’s advanced kitchen appliances and presenting delicious recipes based on available ingredients. Inside the Living section, the Agent showed how it can be a valuable companion, notifying users when a visitor has arrived, inspecting each room as an indoor security officer, and even turning off the smart lightings when everyone has gone to bed. Through LG’s collaboration with Microsoft, the Smart Home AI Agent integrates both the Azure AI Speech Service, which is based on voice recognition and voice synthesis technology, and the Azure OpenAI Service. Microsoft’s advanced Azure AI solutions help to ensure accurate voice recognition and give the robot its aptitude for comprehending nuanced commands, even in noisy environments like the Las Vegas Convention Center – the venue for KBIS 2024. What’s more, the AI Agent’s Large Language Model (LLM)-based generative AI conversation service enables a more sophisticated level of robot-human interaction. Users can enjoy having natural, two-way conversations on various topics and conveniently control their home appliances with casually-spoken voice commands. Additionally, utilizing voice and facial recognition technology, LG’s intelligent, little home agent can distinguish between different users. To show its own ‘personality’ and ‘emotions,’ the robot changes the expressions on its face display, and can also convey its reaction to events and user interactions through movements generated by its articulated leg joints. With ThinQ integration and the expansion of its open platform ecosystem, LG aims to accelerate both the adoption of the Smart Home AI Agent and the realization of its goal to liberate customers from the burden of household chores. Much like ThinQ UP appliances, the AI Agent will be able to receive continuous upgrades via the ThinQ app,2 providing users with an evolving, personalized smart living platform and a smart home solution. A genuine game-changer, the LG Smart Home AI Agent is set to transform the way we interact with our living spaces, bringing us that much nearer to the realization of the Zero Labor Home. # # # 1 Feature availability may vary depending on region and usage environment. 2 Feature and service availability of ThinQ UP may vary depending on region. 11. Hi all, I am trying to find a solution to the native but complex "magic" remote control from LG. For elder or young people, this magic remote control with the OLED C3 TV is too complex or too busy (using a lot of unused keys. The new model for remote control is now either the Apple TV RC, the Android TV RC or the Google TV remote control. All these RC are small, easy to use with only 10 to 15 keys instead of the 40 to 50 keys. I saw that. in the past LG introduced smaller remote control (see below the first image LG AN-MR500) but I am not sure it is supported with the LG OLED C3. I also saw that the latest projector CineBeam Q comes with a small new RC (see bellow). This new white RC has only the necessary keys (max 10) and seems to be fine ! Also, the new C4 is coming seoon and I suppose it will include a new Remote Control but we don't know yet what it is ... Do you have an idea to solve my issue ?
12. Guys, I can see this thread is old 4 years, anyway... I had the same problem with refreshing SmartShare PC client, cuz it' was not showing the newly added videos. Now, the refresh button in the right bottom corner actually doesn't do anything. To do a a refresh go to settings->My shared content-> and there is a refresh button in the right top corner. Apply->OK-Exit. P.S. If you are downloading something in the shared folders, this refresh won't do anything, isntead it will refresing forever. So, first download, then refresh.
13. I'm having this problem with LG Oled 65c16LA with WebOs Version 03.40.85 When I turn off the TV, it goes into standby mode. After 2 minutes the red standby LED turns off and it is no longer possible to turn the TV back on with the remote or with the power on button. It is then necessary to unplug the power supply, wait a few minutes and reconnect it. So the TV goes back to standby and you can turn it on again. In use everything works. Is it a software problem? How can I solve it? Thank you
14. Oh, Joris — I think I'm on webOS 4.5 (Software Version 05.40.20). /envy
15. Sorry to hear that. My webOS 6 tv gives me more, i.e. the toggles I described.
16. This would be a really great tip — I had no idea pressing the Mute button had any effect whatsoever — but when I do press it three times, I get options for A/V Reset, Auto Tuning, Set Top Box Power, and LG Remote Service. Interestingly, these are keyed to the colour buttons at the bottom of my remote, the only interface item I can think of with this feature. But if I want to change the 'No Input' wallpaper(s), this three-press-mute seems not to be the answer. Intriguing, but not the answer we're looking for.
17. Press the mute button on your remote three times. A menu should come up that allows you to disable both the ‘no input’ pictures as well as the screensaver and the LG start up logo.

22. Hi all, What is the true way to send mp3 anonce to my tv? I have homeassistant server with LG TV integration and LG Soundbar, all working fine, but sometime I need to send text-to-speech to this TV. I'm searching for example, something like Postman request to TV. (I'm not searching for implementation with Google or Alexa because homeassistant have internal tts and vtt which working fine and can be used independent without internet ) Thank you for your time! Kind Regards, Jeff
23. Looks like it is CDT, except for a couple of western counties in Texas that use MT (Mountain Time). See: https://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/cdt
24. I had the problem but went to settings, stream format, HLS(.m3u8) and that worked for me.

26. Yep. Wishing I could shuffle music videos. The media player does not give you much options. 🥲
