    • Changed my tv and internet provider. No apps were working and it wouldn’t  let me install or reinstall any of my apps. Went to settings to update all apps. Tried everything but it just said, ‘unable to install, try again.’ Decided to try one more thing…I switched off my tv and broadband at the plugs. Then I soft reset my tv by holding the on/off button on tv for 20 seconds. I then plugged everything in again and reconnected to Wi-Fi. A few minutes later everything was working again. Don’t know if ‘updating all apps’ had just taken a while or whether it was my final attempt  of soft reset…I just know my apps are all working again.
    • Hi all! I am trying to connect the TV to my 2.4Ghz wifi because I have a Google Home mini and some smart lamps that only work on that 2.4Ghz frequency. This would ensure that everything was on the same network. When I configure the tv to connect to the 2.4Ghz wifi,  always gives me an error that it could not connect to the network. If I try to connect to the 5Ghz network (with a different name than the 2.4Ghz) it connects without problems. If I connect the cable tv it works too. All home devices that connect to the 2.4Ghz network are working fine.    Any solution to something that should be so simple?
    • I have two LG TVs, 65SM8600PTA and OLED48A1PTA respectively. Both are connected to the same NAS router via LAN cable. Both can enter the NAS folder containing my Chinese drama series collection. 65SM8600PTA can play everything smoothly. OLED48A1PTA always stucks at loading the drama series folder (which contains ~60 video files, each video is in the size range 400MB-2GB) for very long time, >3 minutes. Upon clicking into the last layer folder, the spinner spins for very long time while attempting to regenerate previews for this and parent folders. So if there is an option to skip generating video/image previews, then listing folder content can complete much faster, and then that will solve the problem. I would like request this additional option for OLED48A1PTA to skip generating preview so that NAS video list can show up quickly. OLED48A1PTA is bought from Shopee recently under 15-day-free-return policy, if you can push an update before 2022-02-10 that solves this problem, I will accept the product. Otherwise I will raise a return-and-refund request because the OLED screen also has vertical strip issue when displaying grey background. Thanks for your notification!
    • Anyone else experiencing this? With an app open, if I hit the home button and return to the Home Screen that app relaunches on its own within a few seconds. The two that I have experienced this with so far are Disney+ and LG Channels. I saw a post where users were experiencing this with Sling and had no resolution to the problem. WebOS version number 03.25.11. It is very annoying and makes the experience using WebOS horrible.
    • Same(OLED B9) Plug off power cable or re-registration HDMI into quick fix slot solves the problem temporary. but  after standby, HDMI quick access would not work again. Before December's 2.20.06 update, there were no problem. so I think this quick access issue is 2.20.06's bug. I am asking to LG support. but they said that they couldn't reproduce the problem their side. Another region's users  already have new firmware 5.25.08.  but my region's recent version is 2.20.06. I don't know this issue will be solved by 5.25.08 or not. Now I am continue to contact to LG support to reproduce this quick fix problem on their side
    • This solution also fixed my LG 42UJ6200. A year ago, my WiFi connection became spotty. Videos on YouTube would play with lower and lower resolution, until they started to frequently freeze up for a few seconds and then speed up to catch back up. The sound always worked fine, the video was the only problem. I switched from WiFi to a wired connection, and the TV worked fine again until recently when it started behaving the same exact way as it had before. After removing the back of the TV, disconnecting the ribbon cables, straightening them out, cleaning the ends of the ribbon cables and the connectors on the board both with rubbing alcohol and reassembling everything, the TV appears to work a million times better. I also notice that the TV is more responsive to my remote, which was definitely sluggish before. Thanks a lot for your suggestions.
    • So the question is can we expect the F1Pro app to be available on WebOS anytime soon?
