  4. Hi, I have an LG WebOS Smart TV that after the last firmware update the Wi-Fi Connection stop working properly. When I try to connect to my network, it will instantly disconnect or it will freeze my TV. Model: LG 55UF6450-UA (bought it on November 2015) Firmware: 03.16.00 Also, I don't know if it is relevant but my TV is a US version that now I have it with me in Costa Rica, Central America. I've tried everything posted on the internet and forums: - Connecting to my cellphones hotspot (worked for about 5 min the first time I try it and then stop working and would work again when I tried to reconnect). - Change the DNS to google's DNS. (Once I was able to do it but didn't fix the issue, and also first I need to be able to connect to a network for the TV to enable the option for changing manually to static ip's). - Doing factory reset won't fix it. - Changing the Country/Region/Time zone won't fix it. - Changing to manual time won't fix it. - Can't do the downgrade procedure posted on this forum for two reasons: because you need to be able to connect to the wifi or via ethernet and it isn't working, and also I can't find an older versión of my firmware. I am pretty sure that I need to downgrade or even just do a fresh installation of the actual the firmware, but I can't find the right way to do it. Maybe with an LG service remote? but again, I need to first get on my hands a working firmware version for my TV right? Any recommendations?

  6. For audio and video conversion, I use Joyoshare Media Cutter. It is fully compatible with all general formats and device-compatible formats like iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, LG TV, etc. Also, it comes with a built-in editor with basic editing tools. I think it is practical.

  10. As a big fan of Spotify, I often listen to music on Spotify. Once I was a premium user on Spotify for downloading Spotify music, but I found those downloaded files cannot be played out of Spotify. Then I google how to control music downloaded from Spotify and how to play them out of Spotify. Later, I installed a Spotify music converter on my pc. Now, I could convert Spotify to mp3 through that Spotify music downloader and play them on any device and player anytime.
  11. Hi @michaelmulvihill Sadly unless Mobdro write a webOS compatible app it is not going to be possible to run it on LG's platform.
  12. Hi @ES18 Sadly there will not be a new version available on the net to install via USB, as if there was a newer install it would be available through the store. May be raising a complaint with Netfilx in the US might be another route to try.

  14. I found something. I disconnected once again the TV from the electricity socket, and after a minute connected it again. WiFi worked once again great. I'll return with more info

  16. Hi there. I have this problem. I had the LG 49U67V turned off and the power cable not connected to the electricity socket for 4 days. Since reconnecting everything I can't connect to the Web. Neither by WiFi or by ethernet cable. The TV seems connected in the settings. But the the speed is practically zero. This is the case with WiFi and with ethernet. No it not the case we're the WiFi disconnects itself and which is solved by disabling the Quick start functionin the settings. What happened?

Hi @George Hofmeister Thanks for reply and yes i have tryed to "HARD RESET" my TV from the appropriate option in the menu but also have reapply the first next setup this trouble it's not disappears. What do you mean when you say on tv it's running WebOS 2.x ??? Do you think that two different versions of the WebOS are installed on the TV ? Unfortunately, because of this "crash" i can check immediatelly after i turn on my tv......... But after that I see WebOS crashing i can see it's correctly reported 3.21.40 it's installed. You know a procedure for example i can do a manually completely hard reset can do myself ?? For example a some ways i can reinstall this 3.21.40 by a pendrive of somethings similar ? Or you know if exist an alternative method to check what version of WebOS it's been running on tv immediatelly after i turn on from standby (before i obtain the explained crash) ? *EDIT* And sorry if you can't understand some parts of my reply but i'm not english.. i'm italian and in some parts i use google translator to post inside this forum.....
  19. I'm so disappointed and angry at myself that I didn't check it before purchasing C9 OLED... I wouldn't even thought that it can be such a big deal and problem... I don't get it why company such as LG doesn't care to create one more app to meet needs of such big community like Synology users... It seams that they don't want Webos to be competitive to Android platform at all... Shame on them...

  22. Is it under warranty? If not how is LG paying for the same? Are they fixing it for everyone?
  23. Mine was the usual 1-1/2 years. Technician is due Monday 20th July. They will be bringing motherboard to cover cable disconnect issue and sound synchronization issues, plus wifi connector to reestablish wifi connection menu. LG is paying for it.

Hi, Recently my LG 55" starts with a grey screen with black shades of vertical lines moving horizontally across the screen. the sounds comes on after 3 to 5 seconds, then the picture a few seconds after that. This happens every time i turn it on I have reset the TV with no luck LM76 series model 55LM7600-TA

Apparently this is a known issue; there's another, three year old thread on the subject where folks report getting through to LG support as recently as a month ago and being offered a free service call to fix the issue. We have the same problem, so I'm debating if it's worth the fight with LG or if we should just suck it up and buy a new TV (since this one is out of warranty and more than a couple years old).
  27. So a month later...has the fix stuck? We have the same problem and I'm debating between fighting LG about it or just buying a new TV. Was yours under warranty still and that's why they covered it or are they covering it for everyone?
