btw i wrote to LG and i dont feel that they will entertain my request judging from their luke warm standard answers to suggestions.

goto all settings, picture, aspect ratio. just scan setting set to on. select all-direction zoom, reset and adjust the vertical stretch setting until no picture distortion <press the left arrow of the vertical stretch until no stretch>. got to do this for different video with diffeent resolution else the all-direction zoom settings is not suitable. so frustrating, but that's the only way i found.

i need to use the tv remote to bring up the home menu or setting menu before i can use the mouse to navigate around. is there a way to bring them up using just the mouse? then i don't have to hold 2 HID (remote and mouse)...
